If you are like me and are wanting the Wuhan "New-Traditional" splash that is in brilliant finish like the wuhan crashes, hats and ride that are also on this website, then go ahead and click purchase now. Musicians Friend has the WRONG picture for this item. These splashes ARE the "New-Traditionals". This is not a terrible dull brassy colored splash, so dont let thier photo fool you. Anyway, Im telling you these splashes are incredible. But then again, so are all of wuhans cymbals. I swear you will not be disapointed. If youre as impressed as I was you may find youreself replacing some of your high grades with these.

I purchased 2 of the 10" splashes and they are my 5th and 6th Wuhan splash cymbals and they are terrific! I own 8 kits (Yes, I'm a total drum geek) and have these all over the place. I prefer their sound to the "name" brand splashes and at this price point you can buy as many as you need. I've been playing the drums for over 47 years and speak with some authroity when I say these are a great value.

Yeth the cymbal is a good buy for somebody looking for a cheap splash that sounds good. I got the 8 inch and it's a great addition to my kit. I'm not a serious drummer but this is in fact a good cymbal. The only things I don't like about it is that it's kinda quite and a little thin for my taste. So if your a really heavy drummer then I wouldn't recommend it. But other than that I'll give it a 4 star rating!!

I have the 8", it's very fast and trashy. it compliments my china very nicely and fits in just about anywhere.

Overall, its a decent cymbal, at a really good price. I just wish I had gotten a cymbal arm for it, because its piggybacked on my crash, and I don't want to accidentally nail it with a hit that's mean for a crash cymbal.
It's just a splash cymbal, there shouldn't be much to be expected in the features part.
When I got this thing, I was surprised how shiny it was, just like higher end cymbals. I am pretty sure this cymbal could last a while, as long as you don't go to town on it, or hit it wrong. The sound is definitely splashy, but there's a bit of a china cymbal sound in it, very little though, you'd have to buy it or listen to an audio clip to understand what I mean.
A cymbal that sounds like this at a great price = a great purchase if you want to add on to your set.

I've had this splash for a while now. I got it when I was first looking to expand my set since it was so cheap. After hearing good reviews I decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did. The cymbal looks fantastic, it's got a great finish. I've heard people say they dent or crack easily but not for me, the cymbal is still in pretty good condition. The decay is okay, I would have preferred a faster decay (like the max splash) but hey I'm not complaining.
I recommend this cymbal.

this is a amazing splash out of the three i got this one is second best nothing could beat this for the price or brand maybe its not ZILDJIAN or SABIAN but WUHAN can still give them a run for there money i recommand this for sure not a doubt in my mine
its pretty good features i couldn`t think of onething wrong with this execpt that it can dent easy but its still good
the noise it makes is pretty good i compared it to a A CUSTOM ZILDJIAN SERIES SPLASH it was about half as good as the A splash

I've owned or played pretty much every "high end" splash cymbal out there. I checked my ego at the door and ordered a 10" splash from Wuhan. Well, it was the best money I've ever spent! It just sounds great. The rest of my cymbals are "high end" Sabians that cost quite a bit of money. As for my china and splash, I'm pround to have these two "cheapo" Wuhan cymbals sitting next to my Sabians while on stage. It's amazing that so little money can get you so much quality sound. I'm a Wuhan customer for life. Hit them hard, they like it!

I really like the 8" sound. Its small enough to give you that splash sound and sound like a more expensive cymbal. I think once you go bigger the cymbals sound cheap. I own both the 8 & 10". They are a great value because they are so cheap so you really can't go wrong. I never thought it was worth it to pay a lot for a 10" cymbal anyway.
