Great Great Great!

By Nickstap

Comments about Yamaha DTXplorer Trigger Module:

This module is by far a best buy. I have used it for a year now in my church and various other gigs and its quite durable, not to mention great sounds. The tap metronome function works great when i practice with my drumline (the basses have their own user preset on my module(: ) A very nice module and an even better price.

Definate buy

By Derek-Aj4sa

Comments about Yamaha DTXplorer Trigger Module:

This trigger module is very very good for 808 drops, china cymbal sounds, and has an amazing "high and dry" bass drum sound- The only thing is, the snare sounds are hokey and the crashes/hi-hats take forever to make sound good. I only use it for cymbal reverses, 808s, a china sound, and my kick trigger- but it is a very good mod to practice with for the price- Definite buy-

Where To Start?

By Daniel-fAO.n

Comments about Yamaha DTXplorer Trigger Module:

This is the same module that I had just before the end of the year. It has now doubled in price with no upgrades! The sounds are average. User friendly? I think not. "Tweakability" limited. At least at that I paid for mine I could say that it was worth the price, but now. I don't think so. I returned mine and bought the Roland TD-3. Now you can't get that model here, but the TD-4 is on the way! Spend the extra $ and get the Roland. You'll be much more satisfied.

Great module, great price

By Whiplash92-OGnY6

Comments about Yamaha DTXplorer Trigger Module:

Considering the prices of other drum modules on the market, this module might not seem like its top of the line. It may not be the best of the best, but it is certainly good at what its supposed to do. I really like the voices it offers (I trigger my acoustic kit) and I couldn't have been happier with it.

Really Cool. Not top quality garbage.

Comments about Yamaha DTXplorer Trigger Module:

I really like this thing be cause it doesnt cost a butt load of money and pretty much does what you your triggers. Sure it doesnt have a bunch of fancy recording and back tracking crap. WHO CARES!?!?! Its a module you can use your triggers with and has a couple of song and drum presets with the ability to customize. It gets the job done. Plain and simple.
