This unit sounds good at low volume application. I use a roland v drum set with a td-12. I play in a variety band and the monitors are pretty good. The subwoofer is not really powerful enough IMO though. Even at low volumes the woofer clips pretty easily. Would recommend it for home and personal use only.
I'm sure there's something out there worth saving up several hundred more dollars for. But this thing has great sound quality. I was talked into buying a cm-30 roland amp by a salesmen, he promised it would work great for the electric drums. I used it for a few months before it blew out.. I got this for my birthday and its everything I want in a sound system.
