    Great Drum

    This kick is AMAZING! I just got it and, threw the Evans emad2's on the batter and resonant side, and within 15 min. I had this thing sounding great! Punchy, loud, & with just the right amount of resonance.The finish also looks great (natural wood) the pictures don't do it justice.The only con is that it is a little pricy, but I don't regret the purchase at all.

    I can't believe the sound that's comin out from this bass drum. Originally I purchased this to lessen my load in carrying a big bass drum, but I ended up "hitting 2 birds in 1 stone". Less weight and BIG SOUND! It has the punch, lows, boom. I stock heads on it, put some felt strip inside the front head on the ring w/o hole and patch on batter with stock yamaha pwr stroke head....and it sound crazzzzyyyy!I normally used this live w/a mike 3-5 inches...and what can I say it sounds like a canon! Bottom line, I got a good deal !
