Comments about Zildjian 24" K Light Ride Cymbal:
This cymbal is definately one of the best. It is super sensitive, if you touch it lightly, the cymbal just resonates. it is very good for jazz, and can be played loud for rock.
P.S. this cymbal is very trashy, if you have a lot of cymbals that aren't trashy but glassy, then this cymbal will be out of place.
the wieght distribution is a little off, so it tilts to one side, but its still good. the logo was a little messy, iguess thats what happens when you order back order. to make up for those minor problems the cymbal looked beautiful and shines under the lights, the lathing makes it looks like there is little lines lining the cymbal.
The sound makes its an incredible value even if it was 1000 dollars
Comments about Zildjian 24" K Light Ride Cymbal:
If you are a hard hitter, interested in the crash sounds, or enjoy lots of dynamic changes in your playing then this ride will be your number 1 favorite. With a perfect stick definition that will most likely fit your needs... this beauty can make your dreams come true. The purpose of personifying exactly the "not too loud" potentials... which also still stands out in it's beauty. I have had it for 2 yrs now, and it's BY FAR the best cymbal to play in a small room.. good for any genre. It impressed me the first day I got it. Worth its high priceVery dark soundingVERY light in weightQuiet ride loud & addictive crash
Comments about Zildjian 24" K Light Ride Cymbal:
This is an amazing ride. I tried out quite a few before ordering this, and three years later, I'm still VERY happy with it. You can get tons of different tones depending on stick placement/angle. It's almost like having three or four cymbals in one. A good buy at twice the price.
Comments about Zildjian 24" K Light Ride Cymbal:
I have had this for almost 2 years now. I am a JAZZ MAN! Don't know why wussy rock drummers would use this as they bash drums not play them, bit I digress ..... the thing I like most about this is the very dark wash is so much lower and disconnected from the ping, and the wash stays controlled because I am guessing due to the cymbal's size -24"- that the light rippling metal tends to dampen itself. The dark wash then lends strong texture to my drum sound while my JAZZ ping remains distinct. Had a piano player say " yeah, I was following and grooving on your cymbal all night" -never heard that before! These I believe sound different from cymbal to cymbal due to their size and complexity - so never buy one without an offer to take it home and integrate it with your other sounds. Highly recommended for REAL MUSIC!
Comments about Zildjian 24" K Light Ride Cymbal:
Prior to buying this cymbal, I spent a great deal of time researching this cymbal. Riley Breckenridge from Thrice uses this cymbal and I saw him use it live twice and it really cut through when it needed to while maintaining a very musical quality. He also used it on all 4 volumes of the alchemy index, and on their most recent release live at the house of blues in anaheim. Ever since I got it I have been in love with it. I use it constantly for live work in my band red letter statement, on the worship team at church, and with the FLCC jazz band. I also have used it for demoing with RLS and will be using it when we track our new E.P. in a couple weeks. I would recomend this cymbal to anyone, although it was a little pricey.

Thin enough where, with lighter sticks, you can swing on this ride and it sings!Large enough where if you dig into it, it Screams!I did notice something about weight distribution in the cymbal...mine tilts or leans to one side as well.Overall, a very good cymbal that I believe with time will only sound better.
Comments about Zildjian 24" K Light Ride Cymbal:
Awesome cymbal, sounds great. Great for crashing on, and the bell is amazing.I have only one complaint. The cymbal is unevenly weighted. Perhaps it is just the particular cymbal I have, but if I don't crank it down with the felt, the cymbal spins and tilts to an awkward angle at a specific spot on the cymbal because that side seems to be heavier. In other words, as you spin it, the cymbal never stays at the same angle. Quite annoying but I think I have gotten used to it.
Comments about Zildjian 24" K Light Ride Cymbal:
This is the best ride I have ever played. I play pop/rock/hardcore (underoath, the alomost, brighten ect...) and this cymbal has amazing action! You can play it soft and it cuts through, you can crash on it and it hardly wobbles! I crash on my ride constantly and hate it when cymbals just clang and then wash, but the Light Ride is supper smooth. My setup consists of two 20" rides (used as crashes) The 24" light ride as my main ride, and 14" hi hats.
Comments about Zildjian 24" K Light Ride Cymbal:
Excellent, excellent ride cymbal. Sound and tone go beyond words - can't describe it. Excellent for Rock or Jazz. Different tones available by striking different zones in the cymbal, not just middle and bell, like many rides. I have tried tons of ride cymbals, and this is it.
Comments about Zildjian 24" K Light Ride Cymbal:
This is one amazing cymbal. Period. If I could use one cymbal for the rest of my life it would be this. I will use this baby on our my up-coming music. It is expensive but worth it. Go Zildjian.
