I love the complete line of Zildjian A Custom Fast Crash cymbals I have a 4 of them on my kit, very versatile cymbal, not to loud for small venues and not overpowering when using overheads microphones. I originally purchased my 17" 6 years ago and just had to repurchase because it had 2 small cracks on the side and eventually a 1 inch chunk feel out. But I beat the heck out of this cymbal and ride it like a heavy metal monster so I'm not complaining and it is a fast crash and those are a bit thinner, but they sound GREAT.

The Fast Crash looks pretty frail upon first examination. It's thin and it bends. Don't let that fool you. It will take a beating! I've had my 16" A Custom Fast Crash for 5 or 6 years. It is probably the most abused cymbal on my drum kit. It is hit often and hard. Only 6 months ago did 1mm cracks start appearing on the edge. First, one, then a few, and now, many. Too many. I'm here today to replace it. I have nothing bad to say about this cymbal. It took a beating and probably could take some more, but it is getting flat sounding. I most definitely got my money's worth from this cymbal. I play 4 and 5 sets of Rock 2 nights a week. A hobbyist or a lighter hitter could probably get double the years out of it than I did. As far as the sound, it's an A Custom, it's thin, it sounds fantastic! Once you get over how thin it is, you will never be sorry you bought it once you hear it.

you get what you ask for. No more, no less, which is an awesome cymbal
the sound really bites. It can be played at virtually any volume, and I don't expect it to even scratch for a long time ( I'm a hard hitter)
it is a tad expensive, but its really worth it.

I have used this cymbal for my church's group crash and I got to say Damn, this cymbal has a great GREAT cut through the music, this cymbal as well sounds very nice recorded I would recommended this to all Heavy - what ever, styles or just for regular use I will own this cymbal DEFINITELY

This one of the best sounding cymbals I've owned. You can hit it as hgard as you want and it wont crack at all. It has a nice volume and projection. I have the 16 which is the perfect size for me. get it. you wont be sorry.

I got this crash about 3 months ago and i just love it. It is just fantastic, i t has great attack and good sound. Its Zildjian so you know its good quality. it sounds good with all kinds of music. its a really good buy.

I got this cymbal probably around a year and a half ago I suppose. It sounded really nice in the music store, so i bought it. It didn't project very well, but it really grew on me. I use it as my main crash now, and I love it. It is great for choking also becuase right when you choke it, the sound stops completely. Great quality and price; thanks Zildjian.

I love the bright, buttery sound of this little crash. It has a nice quick attack and pretty much lives up to its name...."fast crash". It really blends well with any other a custom and adds a new brighter sound to your arsenal. I had one dissapointment tho....this crash doesn't put out a ton of volume during live performances. The sound in the studio is great but u just don't get the volume u need to keep up with full stack amps. but a Great buy for the price!

nothing else can describe this cymbal. i have the 16 and the 18, they blend well together and fit into anything. ive had the 16 since may and it projects very well and i got the 18 yesterday and im certain it to will project well if not better than the 16, it has a little more body to it. both are great for accents and full bodied rides. i know that websites say that the sound of their products is inspiring, but ive actually been inspired by the sound of these bad boys. i reccomend this to anyone for any style.
