I'm using this 19" left side large crash, with a 20" REZO on the right. These are the "closers", their sound is just HUGE! Really just using this as a crash, but the 20" I also ride on with a very full sustain and breadth. The 19" would work just as well for that. Love the REZO line overall, using the 14" Hi's and a 18" Pang also.

I got the 17" less than two months ago.. about a week or two ago it started to sound weird to me and I inspected it for cracks, and sure enough, the cymbal is already cracking around the bell, right where the lathing pattern changes. Granted I am a relatively hard hitter, but my old Sabian Paragons lasted years before they started to crack, this is a great sounding cymbal but the lathing job is cheap, And I even use the Aquarian Cymbal Springs that are supposed to help protect your cymbals from cracking and this still happened. I'm highly disappointed in the quality of this cymbal, too bad too cuz it sounded amazing :/

Comments about Zildjian A Custom Rezo Crash Cymbal:
I bought this cymbal to go along with my A custom 17 inch projection crash and A custom 15 inch crash. It blends in quite well and is a beautiful sounding cymbal. The sound clips don't do this cymbal justice; it is primarily a brighter sounding cymbal but it also carries some beautiful lower undertones as well which you don't hear in the sound clips. Not only is the Rezo line great sounding but they are awesome looking too. You owe it to yourself to check these out if you're in the market for a crash.

Comments about Zildjian A Custom Rezo Crash Cymbal:
I am working through my set going from A Zildjians upgrading to A Custom REZOs. I needed first a new XL crash and so the 20" made sense. Overall - after the 20", HH and Pang I am still working towards replacing everything with A Custom REZOs. This cymbal and the entire REZO lineup are simply awesome! The other Zildjian sound I am looking to mix in with the A REZOs are the Z3s - for a different ride sound and as the remote HH alternate sound also to the REZOs. From the web recordings, the Z3 China seems to match well with the REZO Pang also. I'm trying to say - I find the mix of REZO and Z3 to combine well, as well as with the A Custom EFX crashes. I use an 18" EFX with the 20" REZO crash to close-out songs "big finish", and they are over powering!
My 3rd REZO product to go with 15" Hi-Hats and an 18" Pang. Overall the REZO line looks fantastic and more importantly sound SUPERB! This 20" REZO crash is the biggest crash I've ever owned, and it sounds like it too! Absolute BEAST, but the REZO sound still keeps it having an open lively crash sound - hard to describe but it still has an open crash not ride sound like some larger crash tend to have. Played as a ride or crash/ride also works well, and the bell has a nice sound to it. This cymbal can do it all. LOUD is an understatement.
So far my 3 REZOs all have great workmanship and finish, and are holding up well. Zidjian A Customs - the quality there is obvious.
A Customs are pricey, but if you are looking for top quality sound and look these are great choices.

I'll keep it short and sweet. Looks great, the sound really projects well and is dry. The bell is very loud and it rides very nicely.

Comments about Zildjian A Custom Rezo Crash Cymbal:
I purchased the 16 and 18 inch cymbals and have owned for about two weeks now... The 16 inch has a bright, dynamic and penetrating sound while the 18 inch is more subdued in volume yet bright enough to penetrate. I HIGHLY SUGGEST GETTING THE TWO TOGETHER AS THEY COMPLIMENT EACH OTHER WELL. These are the best crashes I've ever owned OVER THE 30 PLUS YEARS OF PLAYING and I have had Paiste's, Wuhan's, and cheaper Zildjian's in the past. You can hit these softly with great and clear sound projection or hard with the same results. They appear solid enough not to fear cracking them. They also look amazing with my Pearl Masters 7 piece set. I have twelve cymbals (not including the hi-hats) and with my Zildjain "K" 22 inch custom dark ride, the sound is supurb!!! Get these if you can afford them. You will not be disappointed.
Comments about Zildjian A Custom Rezo Crash Cymbal:
I purchased this cymbal nearly a year ago and have had the greatest time with it. First of all it is the first cymbal i've ever had that's made it through a whole year without cracking. I currently own the 16" but when i have a chance i plan on purchasing the 18" as well. The cymbal is bright and sharp and extremely powerful, plus the abnormally large bell sounds magnificent. I highly recommend it.
Comments about Zildjian A Custom Rezo Crash Cymbal:
I have been drumming off and on for 40 years. My first cymbal was a 24" Zildjian and that was all I could afford at the time (in college). Subsequently, I got into Sabian and Paiste, which are also very good. The REZO is the best cymbal that Zildjian has ever made in my opinion. It is beautiful to look at and gives me the fast bright attack I love. I have the 19" already and am considering the 20". They sound different enough to have them as a pair.
Comments about Zildjian A Custom Rezo Crash Cymbal:
I have a full set of Paiste PST5s. Loved their sound regardless of their low price, but since Paiste makes all of their cymbals as sheet, they only lasted about a year and a half before cracking. After 2 busted 16" crashes, I decided it was time to upgrade. Went to the drumstore 3 times just to hit a bunch of cymbals to find what I wanted, finally even bringing up my whole drumset and setting up to find out what I wanted. I like my cymbals bright, very bright, and these and the Paiste Sigs reflectors stuck out as what was what I liked best by far. After an hour of comparing these and the sigs on my kit and annoying the snot out of the guys there I settled on a 17" one of these. They're very bright, sound very clean, and unlike the the sigs, cast so they'll last a long while. I tried out a full set of both the Rezos and the Sigs and preferred the sigs overall, but they were very similar. I hope to eventually upgrade to Rezos all around but am going to wait until the rest of my PST 5s crack to do so. Can't wait till then though! This cymbal is great!!!
Comments about Zildjian A Custom Rezo Crash Cymbal:
The ReZo 17" crash cymbal is my new favorite of my collection. The lathing is excellent, and it sounds great. It has cutting attack, and quick decay. It a little harsher than the A zildjians, and not as mellow, but it still sounds great. Live, it sounds perfect enough to be on a recording. It says medium thin in weight, but if you hit with proper technique, it is just as druable as any other cymbal. It will last forever with barely any marks of use. Also, it looks great!
