      OVERVIEW

High-pitched with extra-strong beat and more volume.

The A Series Zildjian is the world's most popular and versatile cymbal. Created from cast bronze alloy of 80% copper, 20% tin, and traces of silver, it is symmetrically machine hammered and lathed with a traditional wide groove. The result is an exuberant cymbal that bursts with a classic voice that is pure, bright, and expressive.

Comments about Zildjian A Series Rock Hi-Hat Pair:

What can I say Zildjian is the best cymbal I have ever played period. And these hats are awesome. Bought Sabian AAX hats first, tried them live, just did not cut through the mix. Returned them and got the Zildjian Rock hats and they RULE. Zildjian never fails to disappoint me.ROCK ON.

Got these when i was 12 years old.I`m 42 now & have passed down to my son.Lasted thru 2 full time bands & many years with me & now he is using them. These will cut thru any guitar or bass amp NO PROBLEM!We both play very heavy METAL with no sign of a crack on top or bottom. I think you could play with 2 x 4`s & they would hold up.30+ years & still sounding great. What else can you abuse for 30 years & still sound like new?

          These are the best

Comments about Zildjian A Series Rock Hi-Hat Pair:

I purchased the old 14" A Zildjian Rock hi-hats back in the mid 80's and they've been great. However, those were matched pairs (both heavy). I was completly happy until i got the new ones. They're EVEN BETTER! They now have an even heavier bottom cymbal and the top cymbal is not quite as heavy. They sound phenomenal in the studio and live. They have great feel. I purchased the Mastersounds and sent them back. They sounded good but felt like i was playing on toy cymbals. The Rocks are the BEST money can buy in my opinion.

          Pretty good

Comments about Zildjian A Series Rock Hi-Hat Pair:

I bought mine used from a friend and they were a good upgrade from my old paiste alpha's. However, I never really liked the sound they produced. Lately I've been playing them upside down with the bottom hat on the top to give it a heavier sound. just sounds too boring. I'm going to get A custom mastersound hi-hats next.

          Sharp yet Colorful

          By DC-TqVVd

Comments about Zildjian A Series Rock Hi-Hat Pair:

I bought a pair of A series rock hi-hats last year. They were a little heavy, not as much as Z custom but heavier than something like newbeat. I use them for everything I play exept for my church band, where I use my old hats, because they are a little to loud and heavy. Even though they were a little heavier then I expected I am very happy with them; they have a defined chick and a plesent jingle. I recommend them for most situations.

          Awesome

Comments about Zildjian A Series Rock Hi-Hat Pair:

I bought these used. They looked a little tarnished, could barely read the writing. I hit them, i was like "whoa." then i bought them. Took 'em home, polished 'em up, rocked the heck out of 'em. I love these cymbals. One thing though -- buy a mid-high range stand. I tossed these on the stand that came with my low end kit... broke it.
