Quick attack, quick decay!
The Fast Splash line is just what its name implies. These Fast Splashes have a smaller bell than traditional splashes, giving them them unique response and a bright, cutting splash sound. They feature traditional A Zildjian lathing techniques, paper-thin weights, and a traditional finish.
The 8" model is the quickest of the line with a very fast decay; the 10" size features a nice blend of attack with a little more body; the 12" size sustains the most, but still gets out of the way in a hurry. Add more expressive tonal colors to your cymbal set-up.

I got this splash march 20 of 07 and I am really satisfy with it, the splash sounds excellent and its very loud...you can hit any other cymbal with it at the same time and you differ the sound of the splash...even thou its a 10".I promise you gonna love it 100% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!get it right now*********
Pretty good cymbal, but I think it only fits in things like funk, and rock... metal didn't really fit it. It just sounds like a really small crash, not very splash-ey. Also, You should position it straight if you buy it, because on an angle it sounds worse in my opinion. I'd buy it if you need a secondary splash, but I don't think you should use this as a primary splash.
This is a great splash. I would recommend going to a music store to pick out a splash. This splash has a fast duration, and is a little pingy. I have the 10 inch, and will probably get the 12 later this summer.
if you just have a few sabian or zildjian cymbols, don't buy this. I bought this and immedaitly returned it. It didn't accompony my other sounds at all. But, it is a nice cymbol.
I bought the 10" thin splash a while back and it broke, and i sent it in because it was under warranty. they sent me back a fast splash, and its the same thing, i guess they renamed it or something.anyway...i really love this cymbal, it's a lot of fun to hit it at the same time as my crash and it has a great sound. i may consider adding another one, an 8" or a 12", to my kit eventually.this time around, its lasted me quite some time and it looks really great, especially whenever you polish it.
It is a good quality cymbol, but doesn't sound splashy enough for my taste. It is fairly thick for a splash, and has a heavy dead pan kind of sound. I like a splash to be thiner, lighter sounding and clean. I like the zildjian a custom splash though. I don't own it yet, but I will. It is closer to what I want out of a splash.
