I have used this case for at least 10 years as a gigging musician and couldn't be without it. It provides great protection for my cymbals, one of which is an old Zildjian 22" power ride which is heavy like a breastplate. One commentor said there are too many parts- these are simply felt washers that go between the bells and protect your cymbals from resting against each other. Note that, if you have several odd-shaped cymbals (like Chinas) you may run out of room. Altogether, if you value your cymbals you should buy this product.

I've had this case for about 10 years and it hasn't disappointed me yet. It's fallen out of my vehicle and kept my cymbals safe. It's cheaper now then when I bought it 10 years ago. I fit about 14 cymbals in my cymbal safe.

The SKB stuff is way better, with gaurentees and prices and stuff. And for not even that much more. It holds more cymbals than this. if you are on an insanely tight budget or have some cheap cymbals you don't care about, then get a padded nylon case, holds more too. Zildjain makes great sticks and cymbals, maybe even clothes and clocks. Not cymbal bags though.

this is a great case for like 4 lightweight zildjian cymbals, but i use 6 heavy sabian AA cymbals.the way you put everything on is complicated, and you have to be careful where you put things because they get lost pretty easily. my entire cymbal case like bends apart because of all the cymbal weight on one side. whatever. maybe if you use like 3 Z customs or a series cymbals and a not heavy ride, you'll be ok.

I bought two of these cases, one for my effects and one for my rides. This case is a must-have for gigging drummers. Too bad they don't make one to fit 22" rides and chinas though.
