I like these sticks, but my cymbals get extremely marked up with red paint from these sticks which is very frustrating.Otherwise, the weight creates powerful sounds and I do like that about these sticks.

I found these sticks had wicked bounce on cymbals without being to hard on them with the nylon tips. Allthough they were back up sticks hese were the only sticks that did not break for me while recording. They quickly became my main pair! When we were going on our 1 mounth anniversary they all the sudden broke! Right down the middle! They had no feel or signs of damage up until that point, the color didnt chip or fade or leave marks on my cymbals or rims. Strongly recomend these sticks. Im back for more :]

In my opinion, these sticks are perfect. They're just heavy enough to let you accent notes perfect, yet light enough to let you do fast rolls and fills. I bought the Rock Tipped ones, and first of all, they look amazing. The red looks flawless on them. Second of all, they're made out of Hickory which is very tough. The only thing I'd recommend would be Vater Griptape, which is relatively inexpensive. It's perfect on these sticks and provides excellent grip. I'm not changing sticks until they stop producing these. GREAT buy.
