A distinctive voice for jazz and fusion.
The K Constantinople Hi Bell Med-Thin Ride, Low is the heaviest weight in the series for increased stick definition, yet it still possesses a low pitch. The bell shape is modeled after a 100 year-old pair of Zildjian Orchestral cymbals. The larger surface area of the bell provides a wider range of frequencies, yet is not overpowering.

I bought this cymbol after searching for two months for the right ride. And you know what, there is no "right ride" but let me tell why I settled on this one...Musicality. I can lightly hit this symbol and just listen for a solid minute. Get real close, and savor that whole minute. The musical complexity and nuance are unparrelled. Try that with Paiste and you will get bored. The bell has a nice open sound to it, and more than anything this thing is recordable!!!The wash that it creates is not overpowering but subtle and brillantly complex. It sits perfectly in the mix. Honest. The whole constantinople series is for my ear, the only thing avaible on the broad consumer market that really cuts the mustard. Thanks for listening and good luck to us all!
