i bought this cymbal about 3 years ago...i love it!!! has a decent "washy" sound when used as a ride, but i use it as a crash mainly, it can get pretty loud if you really hit it hard...but i'm fine with that
i've very happy with this cymbal, and am so glad i bought it!!!

Comments about Zildjian K Crash Ride Cymbal:

when I noticed 3 edge cracks on My 21" Zildjian A sweet ride (an awesome cymbal)I decided to keep an open mind and not jusy buy another one. I went to a local big name store which happened to have a sweet ride and messed with every ride they had. I must have drove the sale guy crazy since I had him bring the cymabals i liked out to the floor from the cymbal room (what a difference that made)
they had meniel, sabian, paiste(which I'm partial To)zildjian. This one made them all look like tin cans. I didn;t go there to buy, just to look but when i started playing this one it was over. I'll usually find something i like at these places then go home and search the internet for the best price but I couldn't leave without this cymbal. As always, quality differs between cymbals. Use all feedbacks as a guide not an absolute.

Comments about Zildjian K Crash Ride Cymbal:

I got this cymbal about a year and a half ago. It has held up very well over time. Its a very tough cymbal. Its also VERY loud when you use it as a crash. I used to use it as a main ride.. but only for a few minutes. I hated the way it sounded when I used it as a ride. It has a very flat sound, and the bell is just awful. Now I have it on my kit as a crash. It is extremely loud, so I wouldn't recommend playing with it at a small venue, it would completely drown everything else out. Its a decent cymbal, but I regret paying as much as I did for it. If you are looking for a cymbal you could use as a primary ride AND a crash, I would go with a Zildjian Sweet Ride. (Favorite cymbal I have ever used.)

Comments about Zildjian K Crash Ride Cymbal:

this cymbal is a ton of money but it works so well it is worth it. you can get a beautiful crash sound that is very loud but not piercing. as a ride it also has a good ping with the perfect amount of ring to it. the bell is cutting and has a great tone. buy this cymbal if you can you won't be dissapointed.

            Awesome Cymbal.

Comments about Zildjian K Crash Ride Cymbal:

I have always had an interest in the Zildjian K Crash Ride as I play larger cymbals and usually play rides as crashes soo when my band was playing a show and my drum tech brought his 22" K Crash Ride I was very keen on using it.I used it as my main ride for the show and it sounded amazing! It felt balanced and controlled but still opened right up with a dark but smooth crash sound and could be played at any volume level. Also I thought the stick definition was great for a "crash ride".I highly recommend it!This would also play great with a 24" K Light Ride.

            Great Cymbal

Comments about Zildjian K Crash Ride Cymbal:

This is an awesome crash ride. It is a versitle cymbal. I use it to ride on and crash hard for rock; I also use it as in second ride in a jazz set up. The brilliant finish on the K looks great. This is an amazing cymbal. Good job, Zak!
