MAAAN, I have owned this cymbal for over a year, put it through the toughest metal jams, the hardest riffs and the most all around abuse you could give a cymbal, and it still rocks. Perfectly bright tone, cuts through all the other crashes I have ever played, the decay is quick, making it sound very powerful, all in all its a 10 on my list, I've never had anything but compliments on its tone and it is by far one of the best K's I have ever thrashed and bashed, anyways, if you want a fast crash the will dominate (with proper care of course), this is the one for you!

Zildjian K Custom Fast Crash sounds great though it can't project too much for louder volume. Versatile cymbal and great for short accents.Dark sounding with nice amount of shimmer. Sounds better than A Custom Fast crash and A Zildjian crashes. Great choice for those with enough budget. Just be careful not to hit too hard, it's a bit thinner than regular thin crash.

An excellent crash for any situation! I own the 18 inch cymbal. It has a wonderful tone and it cuts through just fine in any kind of music. It is kind of thin but it doesn't take too hard of a hit to get a great result! I have mine paired with a 19 inch A Custom Crash and those two cymbals go great together. I highly recommend this cymbal!

A good friend of mine showed me this cymbal that he got a few years ago. The second I heard the sound it made I fell in love with it. It is exactly what a crash cymbal sounded like in my head, but until then I had never found a cymbal that sounded that good. It has a sharp attack, a super-quick decay, and a slightly dark tone to it. A must-have for drummers of all styles.

These cymbals are SUPER dark and they have that "explosion" sound when struck. Adds a nice contrast if you have a set of bright cymbals.

I have 3 k custom fast crash cymbals the 14in the 16in and the 18in and since I enjoy them so much I soon will be adding the 17in These cymbals are excellent and highly recommend them to anyone who can afford the upgrade

This cymbal is only really good for little accents or turnarounds. Not a good loud cymbal, I guess I should have realized it would sound different with no bass drum, and hit lightly at the music store then in our music room with my kit. Oh well.

I tried this cymbal a couple of months ago when a friend got it, and I immediately fell in love with it. I also have the 17' A Custom Projection Crash, and all my other cymbals are A Custom, except for my China which is the Oriental China Trash. The 17' K Custom Fast Crash, added the crisp and detailed sound I was looking for. It sounds good if you hit light or heavy... Now my A Customs are starting to sound a little pathetic :P

Watch out! K Custom Fast's will make all your other cymbals sound cheap by comparison. Naturally thin in weight, these cymbals are the 'ones' if your playing smaller rooms or have a good mic'ing situation (Dennis Chambers uses these), their tone/sound cannot be equaled. Nothing sounds as magically superb as K Customs.

I got this cymbal for my set and was very impressed when i first got it. As the time went by it kept sounding better and better to the point where all my other cymbals sound bad in comparison. The quality is great because I play heavy metal and hit pretty hard, but it has yet to dent, ding, or crack.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but I was very dissapointed with this cymbal. It is very weak in sound and really is more of a situational cymbal at best. If your looking for it to be one of your main crashes, I would not suggest this cymbal.
