    I've been a die-hard Pro Mark user for years. I'm not generally a Zildjian fan - and I found these on sale one day when my Pro Marks were not in stock.

    To my very pleasant surprise - they last long, feel fantastic (5A), and are very responsive to sticking. They are almost as good as my Pro Marks, and feel better too. I want to rave about them! I almost like them better than Pro Mark but I can't say for sure. They are pretty neck and neck, and these are cheaper. Durable too. I broke my first pair after 4 months of playing and gigging.

    The only con is that the logo wears off after 20 minutes of play. Really though, who cares? YOU know whose name is on the sticks!

    The Anti-Vibe series is great for people with Carpal Tunnel as well. Recommended!

    I bought the 5A would tipped sticks and one of them broke after a month. I don't even do that many rim shots or play that hard. I have cheaper sticks and they haven't broken in a about ten months. I would recommend that you buy the cheaper sticks because they are obviously the same quaulity (I knew that before I bought them), but if they are going to break you might as well get more of them. I don't know why I bought them if I knew the only thing that made them better was the "Zildjian" logo, but I definitly will not be buying any more Zildjian sticks.

      These are fine right out of the packaging, but the sticks (I got the 5B) are not made to last. They broke in half a few weeks in. (I'm not even a hard hitter, and I didn't play any rimshots with them.) I think maybe I'll try vic firth or vater...

      Decent stick

      I purchased the Extreme 5As, for added power, moving from vic firth, and vic firth was a better stick. It isnt a bad stick, it just chips easily and is very light, the feel is nice however, I'm a really heavy hitter so they lasted just over a week. I would go with vic firth personally.

      First of all, I am a huge fan of zildjian cymbals, but not their sticks. These sticks are great sticks while the last. I have had them for only about a month and a half and they are broken. last year I only went through two pairs of sticks, but these sticks were chipping after the first few days. After a month of playing I flipped my snare and tons of wood chips fell out of the little creavace between the head and the rim and got all over the place (which was not easy to clean up). Overall, not a very good stick.

      These sticks are very good. I've been using them for about a year now. I'd have to say the only bad part is that the logo wares off quickly, and that they can be a little slippery sometimes. Otherwise they are the best. I use 5B, so thats what my opinion is based on.
