When I first bought my set this cymbal was thrown in along with a Planet Z pair of Hi-Hats. This cymbal isn't very good because it doesn't sound like a crash at all and only a little like a really cheap ride. This cymbal wouldn'y be too bad for a kid who wants to just start playing and isn't sure whether they're going to stick with it or not. I dumped this cymbal as quick as I could especially since I developed so fast. However, one good thing about this cymbal is the giant bell, it sounds pretty good and is very easy to hit.
My friend got one of these with his Ludwig Accent. This is Zildjian quality. It has a nice sound that can really carry if you need a loud set. I would recommend this to beginners all the way up. If your on a tight budget you should definitely buy this product. Planet Z's are similar to ZBT's.
I've had this cymbal for about 7 months now, and I could of got a Sabian B8 for a few dollars more (I got ripped off on this at a local music store).Although it's not the best, its dual purpose makes it useful. It's pretty heavy, so you gotta hit harder to get a good explosive sound when ou crash it, when you ride it,it's really tinny but ooh, the bell is loud. after a few months of hitting on it, it doesn't have a dent or crack, but it's developing a long, high pithed ring, which I personnally don't like with a ride.Good cymbal for a beginner though.
I got this ride about 5 months ago. I needed better cymbals but had no money. Well It sounded decent when I got it. Very nice finish to it and it sounded alot better that my old stock cymbals that came with the set. However in time the sound got worse and the cymbal cracked. I let a friend use it once and he cant seem to relize that playing louder doesnt make you better. I would not recommend this to metal drummers but rock and country drummers should go for it.
I bought this cymbal a year ago and it has held up well. The bell is awesome and the ride is pretty good. The crash is funky. Its really bland and plain. Theres no pierce to it if that makes any sense. For the money its good enough, but if you're looking for a crash do not buy this.
it is an absolutely horrible sounding. Sounds nothing like a crash, and almost sounds like a horrible sounding ride. My recommendations is buying Sabian B8 Pro's. OR just plain B8s.
This is a not so good crash, more of a ride. The bell is amzing for 40 bucks when dirty. The ride sound is quite washy at first, but with age it gets cripser and brighter sounding.Budget drummers will love this cymbal, it was my first and I might just get some more Planet Z.
I got this with my set about 10 months ago and at first I liked it but its just a little too loud for my liking and it cracks more and more every time I hit it. If youre just starting out, just get a zht or b8 pro or whatever brand you like. Just don't buy it.
