The Zildjian Planet Z Z4 Cymbal Pack includes a 16" crash, 20" ride, and 14" hi-hat pair. The ride projects clearly defined stick patterns over a washy wall of sound. The crash and hi-hats are bright and responsive.

I've had the Planet Z z4 pack along with the 18" Crash/Ride, and there's not too much good to them. First off, they're made of brass so don't expect them to sound all that great. Second, they'll take A LOT of abuse (I've had em for 1 1/2 yrs and no cracks!!) but under heavy hitting and large sticks, the edges dent like crazy! My Crash now looks like a mastersound!! The Ride has way too much wash and ring in my opinion, the Crash is pretty dirty-sounding and also very ringy. My hats are so dented I can't play them closed anymore, and even when they are closed, they still ring!! For a beginner on a low budget, these might do for a short while, but I highly recommend Sabian B8s or ZBTs over the Planet Z.

These cymbals are awesome! My friend has some on his kit and I played them for about 5 minutes and they sounded way better than the Sabian B8's that I own. The hi-hats have a very defined "chick", the crash sounds very dark, and the ride has an awesome ping. I am going to buy these a.s.a.p. I would really recommend these cymbals for anyone from begginer to pro, these cymbals are awesome!!!
I bought these cause i needed new cymbals a long time ago as a beginner. and they get the job done for beginners. they're great for the new drummer, but if you want awesome professional sound i reccomend zildian a customs.
I actually bought the CrashRide (in one) Pack Cymbal, with the Hi-Hat. The Price is great and I love the sound (hole) textures in the CrashRide, the connect with my sticks very nicely. I also love the Hi-Hat, I have even been using it as my second Crash Cymbal in those songs that Require the two different sounding Cymbals. The only flaw with this pack is that the CrashRide Cymbal's sound dies out very quickly, if it just held it's a little longer, then I would love it.
I've been drumming for some years now and had these cymbals when I first started. Their about 4 years old and the hi hat has cracks BUT.. it sounds very good (was not like this at first) it was to meataly at first but over time the sound gets better. The crash broke after a year or so and I still have the ride (the ride as well got better over time) I'm gona try to bury the ride just to experiment since I just got a K Custom dry Ride (which is sick. But for the price these cymbals are great.)
I got this pack a wile back. The sound is not the greatest like a A coustom of somthing. The hi-hats have that nice sizzle to them. The ride has a good bell. The crash is a little to high pitched, but for this price you cant go wrong.
This cymbals are ok, but they scratch very easily and i don't even hit hard!! THey sound good and all but these are more of begginers cymbals. If you're a more experienced drummer save up for some nicer cymbals. Overal: Ok.
For those who bought these cymbals and were dissapointed, i think you must have made a poor product decision and were expecting too much for their price. Do not buy these and expect an A Custom sound. These are merely a personal practice cymbal... nothing more. I suggest the ZBT's for garage bands as they are a fair bit better quality (for the price) and their resale is better.
All I have to say is I got these cymbals with a TAMA set I bought about 2 weeks ago. They looked nice but hardly the sound and texture I needed for my TAMA. A sub-par set of cymbals especially those hi-hats.
These cymbals suck! I'm in the band and we had these cymbals on our drum set, they suck! Just save your money and get some good zildjain custom cymbals!
I have owned these cymbals for two years, and i beat the hell out of them and there is not a single dent or crack, or even a sign of any damage to these cymbals. if you pay more money you will get better cymbals, but for the price you cant beat these, they sound good, sustaint, and blend with many different types of music
