It doesn't surprise me that the best drummer...EVER...has the best drum sticks I've ever played on.Vic Firth sticks chip a lot, and tips start looking like christmas trees. But Tre's sticks don't. Sure, they chip a little, you can't avoid that. Yet I've been playing on mine for almost three months and they don't look much different from when I got them.My only problem with these sticks is that the name rubs off. Tre Cool is like, my favorite person in a band, and his name WAS on my drumsticks for awhile. I kinda wish the name was moved up so it wouldn't wear off as fast, but I guess for people who don't like Green Day they can use the sticks and get rid of the name.Buy these sticks. They're great.

I bought these sticks in hopes that I'd finally find the perfect "durable" stick. The first pair lasted about two weeks, and then shattered. The second pair got about 3 hours of play time and broke straight down the middle. Now I'm on my 3rd pair. Been rocking these for about 2 weeks. They are chipped and splintering. Probably won't last much longer. However... these sticks are cool looking. But that isn't enough for me to purchase them again. If anyone has a suggestion I'd love to hear from you.

I got these sticks almost a year ago, and they are still great. They have a larger diameter than most sticks, which is I tend to like because I have big hands. They are also heavier than other sticks, but not too much, so you can do faster drumming, and still get a great feeling out of them. They also take up a beating too, they only leave a couple marks when drumming. The only thing bad I have to say is that the zildjian logos wear off, but that's about it. If you play rock, punk metal, you name it, these are Tre Cool sticks.

I bought myself a pair of these awhile ago. They're decent sticks. In my experience, they've been pretty durable. I like that they are long sticks, too. They are a bit heavy. Tre' Cool plays pretty fast to be lugging such a heavy stick, but he does it well. They aren't my favorite, but they're a decent stick. Definitely worth buying, especially if you're experimenting with different sticks.

I got these sticks. They were back ordered, but I cannot blame the sticks for that. When they arrived, I used them at once. My buzzes and rolls seemed far more controllable, the sticks are heavy but put little strain on your heads, and they are durable. I would recommend it to anyone.

I have had these for about a month maybe two, and they are no different from a vic firth 7a stick. I did not order them though, I bought them in a Willis Music store. I don't know if that would make a quality difference, regardless, I found better quality from a vic firth Metal N than these

The sticks are amazing. I have been an active drummer for a couple years now. I have broken multiple sticks. These are very durable and although the name wears out, most Zildjian sticks that I have do as well. Along with the Pitch Black series where the paint comes off the whole cymbal. Frank (Tre) is a great drummer. Very fast and strong so that is where the sticks would come in on durability. In the overall these sticks are great to have and great for mutiple shows.

First, these sticks are slightly longer, thicker and heavier the most other drumsticks I've used. I think this is a good thing, but that all comes down to personal preference.Second, these are impossible to break. These have lasted over a year of extremely heavy abuse. I have broken 6 vic-firth sticks, 3 generic sticks, 3 random mallets, shattered a 2 inch thick wood bat, cracked an LP woodblock, completely flattened an LP Black Beauty Chrome Cowbell, and severely damaged an aluminum stick, under the same conditions where these have only suffered a few very minor dents.These aren't the fastest drumsticks, but they are the most durable ones you will find anywhere.

I love Green Day, and I love Tre Cool so I decied to buy these. Three years later, I'm still using them! Awesome pair of sticks, theyre nice and thick, heavy, but not too heavy, and they'll last you a long time. Its true the logo fades away, but who cares? You don't see it anyway when you play! If you see these, buy them, no matter what style of music you play.
