I've had this ride for about 3 years now and believe it or not it still sounds great. Cuts through the music, almost no overtone and a great bell. It's well worth the money.
I have had this ride for a year now, and it is fantastic. I bought the 20" model and it has a great stick definition, a great bell, and minimal overtones. It is a great ride for rock or metal, and it always cuts through the music. The only problem is it is nearly impossible to crash. It is super heavy, and therefore very bright. An all around great cymbal, in my opinion.
This ride is great! Zildjian's done it again. This by far has the best bell. In the studio it sounds great. Cuts thru EVERYTHING! The ping is great. Mix in some A's and Z crashes, everything blends great.Awesome Ride!!!!!!!
I've owned this Ride for almost 2 years, and it has yet to let me down. In the sudio, at a show, at practice. The bell ROCKS like no other, the ping cuts through, even when my guitariists are cranked to 11, and (while my band HATES when I do this) the crash sound you get from this beast is inspiring. Granted, because it is so thick, crashing on it will eventually grow into a 'wha' sound, which isnt recomended for smaller clubs/venues. Asides from that, this is one of the best Ride cymbals a rock drummer could get. Buy it now. ROCK ON !!!
This is by far the best rock ride out on the market. It has explosive volume, and a loud ping. Great ride if you need to be loud...
This is awesome. The best value of any ride if experienced. You are able to play the heck out of it and it wont resonate over the original tone it produces. It reminds me of the A Sweet Ride, but alot louder.
awsome ride!!! i love the volume and its loud, cutting bell. very musical.
This cymbal is one of the loudest rides i have ever played. The decay is extemely long though the sound is great. If you have a loud style of music and want the very pronounced tone of your ride to cut through the guitars...get this. Great bell sound and very good stick pronunciation. Thanks Zildjian!!!
This is a sweet ride if you're looking for a really heavy metal ride. It's loud as heck and cuts extremely well. I just recorded with it and it sounds amazing. Don't try using it as a crash though, I dont think it would ever stop ringing.
This ride is MUCH louder than any other I've used. It's also quite pingy and the decay is really long. Muting it is a bit of a problem though...It's also really heavy. The shipping weight for the last set of Z customs that I bought was 26lbs! So overall it's a good cymbal as long as you want to play loud and you have a sturdy cymbal stand for it.
