This cymbal is part crash, part ride with a hint of china. Every description I've read about this cymbal doesn't do it justice. There is a place for this cymbal in every genera of music. It can make a cool, washy jazz ride or a powerful crash for playing punk and everything in between. If you don't have one buy it, it'll be the only cymbal you'll ever need.

Guys, this is an amazing ride cymbal. It may be the best I have ever heard. I don't think I will ever need another ride cymbal again. But, I play pretty hardcore metal, so it may be just good sound-wise for metal drummers. I have only this and a Z Custom Medium Crash for crashing, and this crashes very well. Definetely consider genre, but I think that if you play hard rock or metal, and are looking for a good ride, not price-wise, but good in general, GET THIS ONE!!!!
