OVERVIEW

Intense ZBT sounds to expand your set.

The Zildjian ZBT 3 Cymbal Pack includes an 18" crash ride and a pair of 13" hi-hats plus a free 14" crash. Sound grooves and round hammer strikes in a simple circular pattern on the top surface of ZBT cymbals magnify the basic sound of the distinctive ZBT alloy. ZBT Series Hi-Hats produce a sharp and focused sound with an excellent, bright chick sound. The ZBT crash ride produces a cutting ride sound with good crash qualities. The free 14" crash has a brilliant finish and a crash sound with easy playability--the perfect first crash cymbal.

The bright, intense, high-pitched sound of the ZBT series cymbals cuts through the mix of other instruments. The sheet origin and lathing techniques create high-volume projection that speaks quickly and brightly when struck and decays rapidly. Since ZBT cymbals are pressed and lathed from sheets of uniform, high-quality bronze alloy, they are remarkably consistent.

The highly polished, brilliant finish looks fresh. Excellent, clean stick articulation with controlled overtones. ZBT cymbals take Zildjian Bronze Technology up a notch with advanced hammering and lathing, and enhanced sound for versatility, musicality, and professional performance.

As ZBT is Zildjian's cheapest brand, you can't expect perfection from these cymbals, but don't let that scare you off. If you're just starting, they are totally worth the price. The hi-hats are a little washy, but good overall, and the crash/ride has a pretty good tone. They're worth replacing for, say, ZHTs once you have more money, but if you think you want these, get them. They're great for the price.

Okay.. I have played this cymbal couple times at church. Let me just tell you that its nearly as hard as rock. I dont know if you like it when your cymbals are stone hard, but for me I HATE THEM. They dont feel good when you hit them nor do they sound good.I bet people who write good comments for this cymbal are either beginners or their the ones who are selling it or they work in the company or something. trying to get rid of the cymbals and trick you into buying them.NO LIE!!!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

By Marisa

from Texas.

Okay, imagine hitting a really loud flattened out tin can with 'Zildjian' imprinted on the side. Then look down and find the ZBT lable... my point is you shouldn't get this set. Save the money and wait til' you can afford a set that sounds like a cymbal

Very Good Starter Set

By MetallicaFan412

The cymbals are extremely good for a starter drummer. Although I find them a bit too high-pitched I like them because they make great solo cymbals, because the cut through the other instuments like Zildjians should. For this price OMG!!

zbt review

By crashingmyride

I had these cymbals for a little over a year. I was really dissapointed in them. All of them cracked and my pack came with a free splash that turned inside out. The hi hats just don't have that chick sound to them. They dont sound very good overall. They were my first cymbals. These are perfect for beginners but not for people with expierience.

Great cymbals for the money. they are not bad at all. Although they are not quite what I'd expect from Zildjian.

Great for beginners!

By Zildjian330

from New York Village.. Huh?

I only had a poor hi-hat and a 16" crash and with those Zildjian ZBT my set sound very good , i use the 14" crash , my 16" crash and the 18" for ride and crash ( i dont have a ride yet ) so it is useful and i like it very much.

DECENT

By Drummers Anomynous

from Undisclosed

overall, they are worth the money. i think the ZBT ride is better then the sabian B8 ride. the bell on the ZBT ride is amazing. Its loud, and sharp. My band mates love it. The ride rings a little too much for my taste tho. The high hats are good, with a decent chick. The crash does what it's supposed to do: it crashes. Overall, if you're thinking about getting these and low on cash, then why not.

Don't let the price fool you!

By RockitMan

from Washington, DC Area

These cymbals are an amazing value! I bought them as a "starter" cymbal set so I would have something to bang on with my entry-level drum set. The price was right for my set, but I didn't expect much. I was just amazed at the sound and quality. I expect to have these a long time...

not a very good cymbal pack

By AAX 4 LiFe20

from IL

The hi-hat is alright and it sounds ok, but the crash is the worst cymbal I have ever bought in my life. Its sound is like hitting a pan, but worse. If you like ZBT then I recemend buying the hi-hat sepratly. Just dont buy the crash!
