Comments about Zildjian ZBT 390 Series Super Cymbal Pack:

I'm writing this revue in response to complaints that these cymbals crack easily.....they do not. I've been playing professionally since 1968. If you are cracking these cymbals, you need to learn how to 'stick' properly. If you break lots of sticks and put stick dents in your heads, you need to learn how to 'stick.' In other words, the problem is you, not these cymbals. These are great entry level or practice cymbals and are a good value at the price point. DON'T KILL YOUR DRUMS AND CYMBALS BY PLAYING TOO HARD. If you need your drums to be loud, use microphones....it's that simple.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 390 Series Super Cymbal Pack:

I bought these to replace another Zbt Set that was wore out. I play at my church and these are perfect. Nothing fancy but have the sound that works for me playing there. I would recommend these to any beginner or anyone that doesn't play in a professional setting. Not sure how well they would do being used constantly with that type of playing, day in and day out.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 390 Series Super Cymbal Pack:

When buying a pack or in a group like this, it's all based on value.... I decided to go this route after playing a friends ZBT pack, where I found them to be consistent ... Unfortunately my pack was not of the same quality...!!! Bummer

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 390 Series Super Cymbal Pack:

The description of the product is very misleading in that it does not tell you what cymbals come in the pack. You get 3 crashes (14,16,18 inch) high hats (14 inch) and a 20 inch crash ride. Also a 10 inch transformer is included.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 390 Series Super Cymbal Pack:

Before I start off, I'd like to say that I am not a professional. But I am no newbie either!

I got this pack for Christmas because I desperately need new cymbals as my old ones were cracked. Little did I know that these weren't any better than the ones I had before. All the crashes cracked all over within 5 months of use. I've been drumming for 10 years now (I'm 17) and I really enjoying playing punk rock music such as Bad Religion, Rise Against, and The Offspring. They cannot hold up to my playing style. If you really hit your cymbals hard do not get these. There are MUCH better cymbals out there for people who are passionate about the way they play.
