A pack for drummers who thought they couldn't afford genuine Zildjian cymbals.
The Zildjian ZBT 4 Pro 2008 Cymbal Pack features a 16" crash, 20" ride, 14" hi-hats, and a free ZBT 18" crash (after mail-in rebate).
Revolutionary manufacturing techniques developed by the Zildjian Sound Lab release a fast, bright, high-volume sound from the powerful ZBT alloy. Sheet origin and precision lathing techniques create high-volume projection that speaks quickly and brightly with a rapid decay. Since ZBT cymbals are pressed and lathed from sheets of uniform, high-quality bronze alloy, they are remarkably consistent. The highly polished, brilliant finish looks fresh.
The 20" ride is a superb all-purpose ride cymbal, with excellent, clean stick articulation and controlled overtones. The 16" and free 18" crash deliver brilliant, explosive climaxes with quick decays. The 14" hi-hats provide full, bright tone when brought together with the foot and a range of clear metallic tones when played open.

I just bought these cymbals a week ago. I'm glad I made this decision because these cymbals look great and sound great. Also they are really sturdy.
I got this set at my local music store. At first, i could not be happier. It has everything you need to start out in almost any style of music. However, you will eventually have to upgrade. Overall, great cymbals for a great price. Just don't think you'll be using these for the rest of your career
I bought these cymbals about two years ago and they have held up extraordinarily well. I don't hit that hard but I can still tell I will have these cymbals for along time to come. This is a perfect first set of cymbals.
I got these and I will say I was a bit skeptic at first but the sound is more than adequate. These cymbals have a quick and sharp sound to cut through the sound of the music around you but isn't overpowering at all. They seem a bit thin but so far they have held up to the beating and I do hit heavily. Zildjian is still in the game.
I bought these cymbals a year and a half to "leapfrog" into higher priced and better quality cymbals. The first time I played them I was blown away. They sound like the professional sets you screw around with at the store. The high-hat is crisp, and the crash dosen't ring forever, or choke right after you hit it. The ride has a nice ping to it as well. The 18" Crash wasn't that good, but it was free. I play about 15 hours a week, and they still sound the same as when I bought them. They are on the cheap side, but Zildjian gives you high quality cymbals.
First off the 14 hi hats, it has a nice chick to it and a pretty good sound, the 16 crash has a great sound great for rock and metal, the 18 crash is also great, last the ride I though that was ok, it was really ringy and it would never stop after you hit it, even when you stop it with your hands. I thought the quality of the cymbals were nice and the look seemed so modern, and really shiny, overall nice cymbals.
I own these cymbals bought them as my first set for my pearl ex. Really good cymbals for the price. Good sound, minimal echoes, and just overall good. Would recommend them to any beginner.
