GREAT! THAT'S ALL
They are great cymbals for the price. I've been using them for a year and a half and, I really love their sound and brightness. The 16" sound nice and clean but the sound is not so long. The 18" love it. Is the star of the pack, can use it on high chores in the song and in break dances. Sounds clean, bright and overall owesome!!! It really rocks. The ride is good, the bell is ok little smoked but with a piece of papertowel in the back with tape with solve the problem. I really dont have problems with this pack they sound great. My crashes look like new NO CRACKS, NO BEND. So I dont know why people say they're cracking bad. It migt be that their hitting it to hard or play them with the broom stick or of the mop. They are really a owesome pack. I've played Sabians HHX evolutions before in a Sonor Delight deumset, and found heaven with them. It is DEFINETLY the definition of prefection!. Sabian is Sabian. But also Zildjian is Strong name in cymbals. Also I played the Sabians B8 before at church and their also good cymbals and good quality. But Never like Zildjians ZBT's brightness and good looking gold. I really recomend this pack it's a very good deal! if your looking for something with great sounding , low price and heavy duty durability. I recommend them!!! But later I will definetly Buy the Sabian HHX!!!

The price is great and the freebies totally knock it out of the park.Bought these for my practice kit to spare the expensive stuff the abuse.Good plan. For fun I took these on a gig just to see what they were really all about. The HH is trashy. You'll never confuse these with New Beats. The 16" crash is the star of the show, big and beefy. The 18" however can't get out of it's own way.No explosion then it decays forever. The ride is very "chimey".Lots of ring and long decay.Im an odd way in the live setting the ride sounded good but the bell just forget.First you have to find a sweet spot if you can and you must be absolutely precise to get anything.Mostly sounds like a buttend on a closed HH bell. This series is what it is.Inexpensive and sturdy.

Great cymbals for the price. I find the hi-hats ring a little more than I like when hit open, but they are a great improvment over the cymbals I had.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

I had been a long time drummer with some of the finer equipment. Currently, I bought the ZBT pack just for jamming with buddies and I am very impressed with these cymbals. The high-hats are crisp, the ride has a nice full resonance for 20" and the crashes are quite adequate. Very impressed especially for the value!

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

I got these when i first got my set, like, 4 years ago or something. It came with a free cymbal bag too. they kept me occupied for a while, but when i heard better quality cymbals, they just couldn't compare. The ride is alright. It's kind of "dingy" rather than "pingy", and i'm not too fond of it. It's thick, and nowhere near crashable. There are some really annoying overtones, and even one piece of tape mutes the majority of the cymbal and doens't help with the dingyness. The bell is nice though.the 16" crash is decent. As a crash, it's alright. But when you hit the bell, it's an eardrum shattering, crystal clear ping. I love it.the 18" is my favorite. In comparison to other crashes, it sounds... i dunno. Hollow? But it works well for crash riding, and can function as a crash/ride in a pinch. the hihats are the low point, i'm afraid. In the beginning, they were an "okay" click, when closed. Time has passed and now it's more of a "chib", and it's extremely irritating. The sizzle is decent, and the open sound is rubbish. I might not be too fond of them anymore, but they served me well for getting it all going. I really would probably only recommend them to someone starting out.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

I've been playing for almost a year now and decided to upgrade my cymbals (again). I bought these, and I like them very much. The ride is fun to play; it's nice and pingy and cuts through the rest of the sound pretty well. The 16" crash is very bright and sounds great with just about everything I play. The hi-hats are also nice; they have an excellent rock sound to them. The 18" crash is pretty good, but definitely not my favorite sound. It's much darker and has a hint of trashiness to it, so it sticks out from the bright sound of the 16" a little too much sometimes. But it was free, so nothing to complain about I suppose. Overall very good cymbals.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

Since these are beginner cymbals, you can't really expect the best from them. I got them as my first set up of cymbals and I'm quickly looking to upgrade. It's not that I don't like them, it's just that I've improved greatly at drumming since the time that I got them. I'll start out with the hi hat. I think the hi hat is fine. It's crisp and has a nice chick. The crashes are good. I really love the 16" inch crash. But the 18" is pretty nice also. And finally the ride. Oh, that ride...Let me just say that this ride absolutely sucks. Very long overtones, horrible ping, and horrible bell. And if you crash it, it sounds like a gong. If anybody wants a GOOD QUALITY RIDE with MEDIUM OVERTONES, great RIDE ACTION, a great BELL, and is great for CRASHING, try a 21" sweet ride. That's what I'm looking to upgrade at the moment. Over all, though, they're good beginner cymbals.

I have had these cymbals for close to a year and the 16" is cracking bad, the 18" sounds more like a china, the ride rings a lot but is pretty good overall, and the hi hats are too heavy and don't sound the best. I would recommend checking out some other cymbals

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

We had the man that owned our drum set move so we needed some replacement cymbals at Jubilee Family Church. One of the guys in the Church recommended the ZBT cymbals saying they were priced well and a decent cymbal. Our current drummers are 13 and 11 years old so they don't hit the cymbals very hard compared to some, so I figured they would work well. They were the same cymbals we had on our previous set and they worked perfectly for the 5 years I've been associated with them. I'm not a drummer but they work for me. The price was excellent saving the church some money.

These cymbals are amazing while they lasy. However i've owned them for about 8 months now and there has been heavy cracking in all cymbals except the ride. Before they crack they are some of the best sounding cymbals, but they dont last long at all.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

I wouldn't say these are for 'beginners' but basically for anybody looking to add a average, decent cymbals pack that would last for awhile. I've never been a big Zildjian fan or Sabian for that matter. I've always loved the sound of the Paiste 2002 series cymbals, but alas those are too expensive for me right now. Because I need a new ride, about 2 more crashes, and I wanted another hi-hat to the right, I decided to try this out. They do what they say. Nice loud sound. Nothing special, but nothing bad, especially for the value. So if you want a pack of new cymbals and you're on a budget, I would recommend these.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

I am also a 15 year old drummer, who has recorded with a few artists over my short career, and I think these are amazing. They are fairly high pitched, but any good drummer could adjust fairly easily. Also, you should expect it to be high pitched, seeing as the B in ZBT stands for Bronze, and looking at any other bronze cymbals (Pulse B857, Sabian B8, (and B8 Pro) Zildjian ZXT, etc...) they are all fairly high pitched. The hi hats are great, and have a nice, loud chick. The crashes are nice, but ring for a while. The ride is really the only thing to complain about. It rings forever, but it works fine if you follow it up with a crash. Fast beats work well also. It sounds great, and has a nice bell. Overall, they are great cymbals.

I've had these cymbals for about 5 months now. They are really great and sound good. Cant beat the price! The Hi-hats have a great crisp sound, and both the 16in and 18in Crash sound great as well. The 20in Ride has a little bit of a ring, but is still good. But recently my 18in Crash ha just cracked, and I am very disappointed. It comes with a free 2-year warranty which is great though.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

You know, anyone can be snobbish about anything. Some people feel that if you don't drive a BMW, then why even buy a car. Others feel if your not recording with Pro Tools, then why even bother recording. The truth is, everything is about your personal preference and what your ear enjoys. I play all styles of music and these ZBT cymbals have worked really well for me because they sound good with any type of music. Another plus, is that i beat the **** out of my drums, and i have never had a ZBT cymbal crack or warp on me in the 2+ years i have been playing them. Sure, i could make a comment about how maybe their too bright for metal if i exclusively played metal, but for anyone who's looking for tough, reliable, good sounding cymbals for their drums, look no further.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

All in all these cymbals sounds great! Although it turns out i'm a pretty hard hitter. I am a new drummer, I have been playing for 2 to 3 months, which is how long i have had these cymbals. I highly recommend these, if you are not a very hard hitter, but even if you are, i still recommend these until you can afford something better. After having these for such a short time sadly, I recently for that my 18" crash was cracked. and since its cheap and luckily I happen to be a very fast learn so i'm ready to move on to something better anyway, but until then I would suggest continuing to beat them till there is nothing left before just going out and buying some new ones.

Overall, I recommend these if you are a new drummer, of course until you can afford something in a higher range. But be sure you take good care of them, polish them regularly and they should last a good while if you're not trying to destroy them.

          Hope I have helped.

Comments about Zildjian ZBT 4 Rock Cymbal Pack with Free 18" Rock Crash:

These cymbals are a great value. But honestly, they're for beginners only. Even a person who's been playing for only two years will quickly get tired of the way these sound. The hats have a nice chick similar to paiste cymbals, but there is a ton of ring as well (not overtone, but ring), but they sound awesome when played open. The crashes are pretty good, but they ring too long. The ride is the worst part. It rings FOREVER. It has a nice ride sound, and the bell is great, but it just simply doesn't die out. Overall, good for beginners. Cheap, durable, and decent sounding. Zildjian is a good brand, but they need to step it up when it comes to sound. They also need to lower they're prices to make good quality cymbals more affordable. Paiste does a great job of doing that. I recomend that beginners go straight to Paiste 201 cymbals.

I've been drumming for about 6 months now and I find them ok but to be honest you can get better cymbals, not for the same price, but sooner or later you'll want to buy another set.Maybe not the whole set, but the 18in free crash sounds horrible, it sounds more like a gong than a cymbal. The 16in crash and the ride are ok but the sound last forever, on the crash it's not a big deal if you continue playing but the ride rings a lot.The hi hats were the best of all 4 for me, they sound good.Overall good pack for low-budget or beginners

I got these as a christmas present a few days ago and i am satisfied with them. the hi hats have a good chick sound, and they sound even better open. the 18 inch crash is nice too, it seems a little less bright than a typical crash you might buy elsewhere, but if you like playing slow and heavy you will love it. the ride is decent, it rings a lot, and i must say i am slightly bummed about the sound the bell puts out, pretty weak. i havent really messed around with the 14 inch yet, im using it as a back up for the 18 if it cracks. all in all, good price, decent sound. if you arent trying to break the bank with high end cymbals i suggest these.
