This is by far one of the best chinas I've ever played. You probably wouldn't think it to be that good at all, being that its a ZHT, but I've played Orinetals, AAs, A customs, and Wuhans, and this is just as good as any of them at half the price. Durable, loud, cheap, and best of all, it doesn't sound like a trash can lid! I'm very pleased with this and I'd deifinatley replace it with the same one if it broke, which is unlikeley. Buy it now.

I've always played Wuhan chinas but after reading some positive reviews on the ZHT i decided to give it a shot. A 16" Wuhan only lasts me a few months before a crack develops so i figured i'd spend more money and get something that lasts. I bought the 16" ZHT and put it on my kit right away.. And then took it off and put my broken Wuhan back on! The ZHT is pingy and rings waaaaaaay too long. I play hardcore/metalcore mostly and use the china for breakdowns more than just for an accent. So if you're looking for an effect cymbal for the same reasons, DO NOT waste your money on this. WUHAN is a much better sounding cymbal and muuuuuch cheaper.

I got this cymbal a couple years back. That was before they made it better(I think?). I have at least 4 cracks and a huge piece of of it came off. If your looking for a cheap china that lasts don't buy thing one.
Comments about Zildjian ZHT China Cymbal:
I actually bought the 16 inch china slightly used from a friend, and i admit it was worth it even used. It sounds amazing, not too loud or soft, with the perfect china sound. It is a little bit pingy. i did make the mistake of tightening it down to much, so it didnt move, and created a warp where i hit it, and eventually cracked. but dont let that stop you, its well worth it!
Comments about Zildjian ZHT China Cymbal:
This cymbal sounds fine, but it is not very sturdy(which seems to be a problem with Zildjian). It sounds great, but after a few weeks of play time it has some very obvious dents. It has not cracked, but I'm sure that will come soon. Overall, a fine cymbal if you're on a budget.
Comments about Zildjian ZHT China Cymbal:
This cymbal does take a beating, but it is thin and it does crack. I've found that for every little chunk that flies off as i play it sounds better and better. Mine's missing a huge chunk out of one side and it still somehow has musical sound. It's not the quickest or trashiest china, but it does last, and its certainly worth the price. It blends well with my Z customs and A customs, so all in all its not a bad buy.
Comments about Zildjian ZHT China Cymbal:
I break cymbals all the time and this one has managed to hold together. And its perfect for breakdowns and accents I love this china and its a great price for an awesome sound!! I would say if your looking for a nice china at a low price to buy this cymbal.
Comments about Zildjian ZHT China Cymbal:
I got this china around 6 months ago with the EFX that comes with it in some packages. The EFx broke the next week, but the china has yet to crack, and I beat that thing to death. Its super loud and rings a lot in the garage but on stage it sounds amazing!!! Although I do prefer Wuhan for all of my effects cymbals, this one is not bad, especially for the price.

I love this cymbal. I got it a few days ago and it sounds great. I love extreme metal music and it goes with it! The only bad thing is that it has a slight ringing tone after you hit it. Other than that its great!
Comments about Zildjian ZHT China Cymbal:
This China is terrible. The sound is very tinny and bright, not trashy at all. This sounds more like hitting a China plate than it does a cymbal. PROS: Very shinyCONS: Sounds terribleIf you're on a budget go with Wuhan. If you're not on a budget, go with Wuhan. Best sounding and best priced chinas.

This china was definately a good buy for me. I have had it for around 6 months and it still is looking and sounding great. Also not terribly expensive so definately worth it.
