I had recently cracked my 8" splash and needed to replace it. I have a 16" ZXT Crash that I bought about 4 years ago and it is my favorite sounding cymbol - yes, even over my Zildjian A Series 16" med crash. So I thought I would try the ZXT 10" to replace the 8" A Series I had just cracked. I hit alittle on the hard side - so first hit at a job, I put a small dent in the 10". I decided then that I wasn't going to use it as "heavy" accent cymbol. But I moved it to different location on my set and tried using it for light to medium hits and I LOVE it. So if you are looking for a hard accent cymbal go with an A Series or A Custom - but for nice accents and fills this is a great cymbal.

I bought the 8". Zildjian really disappointed me with this one. When you hit this splash it sounds like you are hitting a pot lid. It has a low, dull ring to it. It has no "splash" sound. It rings for about 6 seconds, which is not my taste. I really expected a better sound quality. Unless you are looking for the sound that I described, I would not recommend this cymbal. ZILDJIAN ROCKS!!! (except for this cymbal.)

I bought this cymbal about a year and a half ago and fell in love with it immediately. It is perfect for accenting fills or pauses and has a nice bright sound to it that cuts through. The price is very good too. The only downfall is that if you hit hard, this cymbal won't last forever. About 4-5 months ago I started noticing small cracks on it which then began to crack all the way down to the center. There are about 3 large cracks in it now and it makes it pretty much useless. But if you're an average pr light hitter, this cymbal is perfect. Even if you're a hard hitter, it's worth a try for the price.

I bought this splaash about a year ago and once I got it it sounded great! It is the best splash I have ever heard in my 4 years experience of being a drummer. It is the best kind of cymbal for someone who is just starting out or for someone who is more experienced. And for the quality of the cmbal, you cant beat the price. Buy it!

this is a great splash. it sounds awesome for any genre of music. It is very quick and cutting and is great for fills and accenting. i have one problem. i have had this cymbal for 2 months and it has a crease halfway through it. i am not a hard hitter. Overall great sound not so great build quality.

This splash is great. Great price and great sound. It sounds a little like a bell. The cut of this spash cymbol is so fine it just add to any fill/ or song. I've tried it for all types of music and it works great for all.

Well this is a decent cymbal , expecially for the price. I have had this for about 5 months and still rings perfect. I would tottaly recomend this but only for begginers , i kind of wish i went with Sabin but i'm still very pleased with this GOOD BUY!

I've owned the 10 inch flash splash for almost 3 years now, and even though I'm a hard hitter and I play it all the time, the cymbal hasn't come close to cracking. I like the sound, but it's just a little tiny sounding. I can deal with that considering what little money I paid for the cymbal, and would recommend this line (I also own a 16 inch thin crash) to anyone, especially if your budget is tight.
