I got these cymbals as a christmas present and was astonished at how well they sounded on my kit. Though they are not as good as A customs or K customs, they hold up very well. They produce a very good sound that can be applied to a variety of different music styles. One more tip - don't use wooden tips on good cymbals, they leave black marks. Get yourself a pair of Vic Firth's with nylon tips.

I own own the pro pack and I also purchased an 18" crash to add to the pro pack and they sound ok for how much I payed for them and when I purchased them 3 years ago I was just learning. Now the only one out of the four I havent cracked are my hi-hats good thing for zildjians warranty now its time to start upgrading mayb some A Customs... If your a begginner these are great cymbals for the money with a decent sound. But the downfall is they crack easy and start to look ugly after playing them for a few months.

Alright cymbal pack

By Diesection

from NJ

I used to own this cymbal pack and I have to say it is not bad. I recommend this set to begginers or people with low budget. The cymbals are not too powerful sounding and it has too much ringing on every cymbal. Good pack for the price though.

Great Beginnner/ Intermediate Set

I have been playing zxt's for about 8 months now, and I really like them. They have an excellent, full bodied sound, but they are not nearly as expensive as the Z, A, and K custom lines. I would recommend these to anyone just starting out, or anyone with some talent but on a tight budget. I would definitely say, don't waste your money on the ZBT's or the ZHT's, just get the ZXT's and a few years down the road, up grade to a cast set.

These are just good, strong, basic cymbals.

By Emochild

These cymbals are good for the money. If you are an experienced player and you're in a band that does alot of shows, these might not be right for you. If you're just beginning or you're in a garage band, these cymbals are awesome. I got them for a birthday present, and love them. So go and spend the $! It's worth it!

good for recording

By Phish Phan

When I first bought these cymbals with my rockstar kit I thought I was gonna get a good deal. Turns out I did. The hihats have a "chick" that's very crisp. The crash is my favorite because it can cut right through the music. The ride was the only reason I didn't give this cymbal pack a perfect 10. I'm not saying it's not a good ride, it's just that it's too loud in my opinion. However the bell of this cymbal greatly makes up for it. Overall this is a great cymbal set when you just play them without mics. But as soon as you hear these things on a recording you'll realize how good they are. Buy these today.

Good pack for all kind of styles, I think this cymbals are similar to the paiste 2002 in quality. I have the paiste 2002 in the drums class and the Zildjian in home, and I prefer the Zildjian.

Stellar

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

These cymbals are (obviously) not the best out there. But don't get discouraged. If you (like me) are on a budget, these are the cymbals to buy. Zildjian makes good quality products, and these cymbals are no exception. These will hold up for you, they deliver a decent sound (in fact if the hi-hats are slightly open they sound excellent!), and they are inexpensive. They are a great kit for starters or people who are looking at a low price range. The ride is a little ringy but overall these cymbals work!

not too bad

By drummerboy2009

I have had these for about 6 months now. they are great for a starter pack (which is why I bought them) or the professional drummer. The cymbals in general are awesome. They have a dark, but at the same time, brilliant sound to them. they sound great with just about anything, from jazz to punk. I recommend these to any drummer. I will say that I have dented the crash, but it hasn't cracked. so if you are a really hard hitter. Well you might have to back off just a little. Anyways, that's my opinion (for whatever it's worth). Buy them

I bought these cymbals about a year ago there holding up very well except the cymbals mark up eaisly. the hi-hats and the crash sound great and the cymbal bag works nicley but the ride cymbel is not very good. it sounds ok except the bell of the ride is terrible and if you crash your rides this is not a good choice for you. overall though there nice cymbals

Great untill....

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

I would say the cymbols are decent for somebody who just started playing drums and needed some decent cymbols. They sound ok for the price. But be prepared for craking and spliting in the cymbols after about 5 or 6 months. I would say that the ride cymbol is good but my hi hat top and crash have both cracked. I would only recommend the cymbals to a beginner who is planing on getting better cymbals after about a year of playing.

I bought these one day ago and I love them. The Medium Ride is a great cymbal with a good "PING" sound. The Thin Medium Crash has an awesome sound. And The Hi-Hats have the PERFECT "CHICK" sound. GREAT DEAL, worth every penny, and most Bang for the Buck

Best Starter Kit for Best Value

By AdamKidd

I got these with my drumset over a year ago. They hold up amazing, and sound fantastic once you've broken them in. Though, they may not be the cymbals that you play throughout your entire drumming career, they will still last. If you're looking for your first set of cymbals, look no further.

I love these cymbals. The hi-hats have a crisp clean every drummer should be looking for. The crash is perfect for hitting repeatedly. The ride is great. (I like hitting the top of it like Travis Barker on the zildjian logo.

These cymbals are sweet! Zildjian's entire ZXT line is incredible. These are the best sounding sheet bronze cymbals I've ever played or heard. The ride has awesome stick articulation, with warm overtones, and an awesome high-pitched bell. The crash is one of the best I've ever heard. This thing stands with the expensive A Customs. It's medium in pitch, and just sounds completely awesome, fast decay and everything. The Hats are okay, they're a little too heavy for me, but they still get the job done.

Truth about ZXTs

By Rudigur Sanchez

Ok now. These are good cymbols. they are made by zildgian so you know they should be good. Now these are not as good as those fancy A customs or A series or Z customs but lets face it....a large protion of people can afford to spend that much money on those kind of cymbols so why not go with the next best thing. i use these at gigs and they hold up fine. The ZXT line of cymbols is very much worth its price. They have a lot of models to choose from and good quality for only being sheet bronze cymbols. I would definitely recomend these cymbols to those who can afford them.
