            Not bad for the price

I think they are what they are a good cheap mic

I wish they were isolated better but then i'm sure they would cost more.

I wish they were isolated better but then i'm sure they would cost more.
Not much to say here, no on/off switch it's just a mic
They sound good as long as you don't touch them, they pickup ever little vibration.
This is because the element is not isolated from the case but they are not vocal mics so if you put them in a stand and don't bump anything they are attached to they will work fine.
Very directional mics which helps reduce feedback when using them to mic an amp that is off to the side of the PA speakers

You can tell they are not SM57 mics just by the weight, they are much lighter.
The sound is slightly brighter than an SM57 but they still have decent low end response.
Good value for the money, I had a sound guy I work with check one out and he also was impressed with their performance.
I use them for micing guitar amps and they work fine for that

I couldn't pass up these for the price. I use them to mic drums and guitar amps for small studio recording to ProTools. Output level compared to the S brand that looks the same is a little lower, but sonically very clean. I'm using them in front of Fender guitar amps and love the sound.

I sometimes regret inexpensive equipment purchases. This time, the gear is better than the price and sounds very good. Using them for accoustic guitars and miking amps. Like others, I ususally use 57s and 58s and soundwise these are as good. I doubt that they will live as long, but at this price, that is not an important factor. If I am careful with them, they may last quite a while.

At this price for three this deal was too good to miss. I read the reviews and decided to take a chance. Used two to mike up my 2X12 combo into my mixer and fired up Sonar X2. I needed to crank up the gain on both the mixer and Sonar to get the meters in Sonar to show any life (I am recoding at low volume on the amp)but the recorded sound was good. So good in fact that even though I close miked on axis these beauties picked up the click track from Sonar. I have the third one as a spare or later may try vocal with the guitar.
Not as heavy as a SM57 and probably not as durable but for a home studio these are ideal.

I got these mics on the 3 for 1 deal. These are instrument mics as described. I use one on my 2x12 combo with a cabgrabber. Keep being asked how comes my guitar sounds so clear on the FOH. Used it on hihats and cymbols too when the mixer at the venue did not have phantom power for condensers. Worked just fine. Had to place mics closer than condensers. For the price you can't go wrong. Don't try to sing through these. Not what they were made for.

I bought the three pack for my home studio a few months ago but I wanted to wait until I had used them enough to form a considered opinion. They have a great dynamic response. The plastic body may make them vulnerable to damage on the road but they are ideal for the home studio. They pick up some noise when handled but who handles an instrument mic while recording? I couldn't be more satisfied. The three pack is a great deal as I often double mic my acoustics - one up close and one down a long hallway for the echo. Last week I used one to mic a clasical acoustic and it picked up every nuance in my (finger) picking technique.

ive only tested them so far, but they seem good. they have handling noise, but they are going to sit on a mic stand anyway so it doesnt matter. they look just like sm57's and do quite a similar job for 1/3 the price.

i bought them to use in my home studio and they are perfect for my needs. they come with their own generic universal mic clips which is nice. i bought the 3 pack, and along with two small overhead condenser mics they work well enough for drums.

overall i am pleased with my purchase.

I bought these as knock around mics so I could hear my drums through headphones while playing along to music. Today, somebody asked me to make a rough drum track real quick and I just used what was already there. I was more than impressed with how they sounded, even (or especially) on the kick drum. It was amazingly full and punchy after some minor EQ tweaking. I ran the Snare mic more or less flat and it tracked well.

I'd say they are pretty comparable in overall sound quality to most instrument mics, except that they need a good bit more gain to reach the same level output. They are also lighter weight than something like an SM57 by a long shot, and seem to have more handling noise. This was not an issue for me, but I don't know how well they would hold up on the road.

All in all, it is a fantastic value. I wouldn't hesitate to track guitar or drums with them in place of mics costing several times as much.
