Comments about Rode Microphones PROCASTER Dynamic Mic:

I needed a Broadcadt quality Microphone for Voice Over work and a Talk Show We do.
I tried Shure SM7. , nice Mic but too. Boomy and muddy sounding for my voice.
After researching alternatives ,decided to try this one out.
        First impressions...
        Built like a tank
        Internal pop filter
        Easy to use
        Excellent clarity
Low impedance ,however does not need as much gain as SM7

It's Easy to get great vocal sound with this mic and a little EQ!!

        Decent Mic

Comments about Rode Microphones PROCASTER Dynamic Mic:

This microphone I expected more out of but I can't complain. I was in a rush and needed a temporary replacement microphone for my Shure SM7b (which you can't really beat that). I am a voice over artist and I needed something fast. This microphone is not the best for voice over work, but works EXCELLENT for internet radio and any broadcast/podcast application. That is what I highly recommend this mic be used for. Voice overs, try to go for something like the Rode NT1A or Shure SM7B.
