OVERVIEW

The patented Bronze Metal ECYMBAL II electronic cymbals feel and play exactly like acoustic cymbals because they are!

These cymbals feature Hart's patented design in which two cymbals are riveted together to eliminate resonance and acoustic volume.

ECYMBAL II cymbals come with custom blended rubber on 1/3 of the cymbal for extreme stealth. You can also remove the rubber for exact acoustic "feel".

These cymbals are virtually indistinguishable from "brilliant" finish acoustic cymbals. Splash, Crash, China and Ride cymbals also come with Aquarian Cymbal Springs to enhance feel. All cymbals have incredible triggering characteristics. Heavy duty trigger with high output and "snap-lock" 1/4" connectors ensure cymbals stop playing when you do.

FEATURES
  • Electracoustic cymbals feature Transparent Energy Transfer (TE3.2) technology which allows response and feel of an acoustic cymbal while achieving virtually silent operation
  • Ecymbal II features bronze metal cymbals for enhanced acoustic feel
  • Ecymbal II features highly polished Brilliant finish
  • Custom blended rubber (removable and user replaceable) on 1/3 of cymbal for quiet operation/exact acoustic feel
  • Unsurpassed sensitivity, dynamic range and acoustic cymbal feel
  • Mounts on standard boom or cymbal stand
  • Cymbal Spring anti-rotational device allows enhanced acoustic feel and consistent triggering (included)
  • As close as it gets to acoustic cymbal feel
  • Extremely quiet and compatible with all "mesh" style drums
  • 1/4" TRS (stereo) connector output format.

Why play a rubber pad when you can play the real thing?

much better than plastic

Comments about Hart Dynamics Ecymbal II Chokable:

I recently bought a used set of Hart Dynamics 6.4 TE Professional Series electronic drums. The set came with two Hart ECymbal II crashes and a nice 20" metal Hart Ecymbal II ride. I didn't particularly like the 12" and 14" plastic crash cymbals; they looked cheap, but worked okay. I had plans to replace them with chokable metal ECymbal versions at the first opportunity. That opportunity came a few weeks later when the trigger on the 14" crash died. Just stopped sending signals, period. I wanted to replace both the 12" and the 14" at that time but because of the cost of new metal Hart Ecymbals, just replaced the 14". Looks and works GREAT. It is actually two cymbals riveted together with the trigger on the inner cymbal and opposite the striking surface. Chokes fine. I did have to bump up the trigger sensitivity to get the metal 14" to trigger the same as the plastic 12". Other than that no problems and I bet it will last for the life of the set (which is going to be a while). The only issue I have with these cymbals is the choke consists of a sensor tape that zig-zags down from the trigger housing on the underside of the cymbal. It is glued on and while that is done well, it just seems to me that it too fragile a method of engineering and it will eventually fail. But I'm not going to worry about it. The Hart Pro set I aquired is a fantastic set of drums and the Roland TDW-20 module I use with it is a perfect match -- I LOVE these drums. And these are probably the best cymbals you can get for electronic drums at the current time (Zildjain is working on some stuff though, look forward to that).
