If there's one thing we can say about Fender, it's that they're the ones who really catalyzed the electric guitar revolution. The early Telecasters and Stratocasters were the instruments that made the guitar what it is today, and it's no surprise that every guitarist would love to own a little piece of that history. Good news: Fender American Vintage Telecasters are your chance to do that. With painstaking attention to detail, they really capture everything that made the first Teles such outstanding instruments. Best of all, you won't need a small fortune and a private auction to own one - they're available right here, right now.

If you want to go all the way back, start with the Fender American Vintage '52 Telecaster Electric Guitar. This retro-inspired beauty embodies the traits that Telecasters have always been known for: simplicity, elegance, longevity and top-tier craftsmanship. You get the exact same specs as you would have gotten in 1952, including a premium ash body, one-piece maple neck, two authentic pickups and the original Tele circuit design. The '52 is also available in a left-handed model, so you're free to play this classic axe no matter which hand you put first.

For those of us who prefer to go a few years up, there are also the Fender American Vintage '58 Telecaster Electric Guitar and the American Vintage '64 Telecaster Electric Guitar. These years were big steps for the Tele, taking it first to a D-shaped neck and then to the C-neck in 1964. Those are just the beginning of the changes, and thanks to this series, you don't have to hunt for actual vintage instruments to see them firsthand: these guitars are so accurate to the originals that the experience is just as authentic.

That's really what the Fender American Vintage Telecasters are all about: authentic experiences. They're the closest things you'll find to re-living the '50s and '60s unless you discover how to go back in time. And that's just fine, because it gives you all the character of a real vintage Telecaster along with the reliability you'd expect from a modern instrument. It just doesn't get any better than that.
