The Fender Deluxe Series offers upgraded, yet affordable versions of the classic electric guitars and basses that first revolutionized popular music over fifty years ago, from the iconic Telecaster and Stratocaster to the Precision Bass and Jazz Bass, as well as newer, series-exclusive favorites like the Deluxe Jaguar Bass and Acoustasonic Tele. The Deluxe Series instruments boast classy touches like gold hardware and tortoiseshell pickguards; enhanced tonal options with beefed-up pickups and innovative switching controls; and effortless playing with smooth-feeling, fast-action necks and that legendary Fender design. The Deluxe Series began in 1997 with the Nashville Tele, a brawny twang machine which now features three Tex-Mex pickups, with a Tex-Mex Strat in between two Tex-Mex Tele single-coil pickups, and special five-way Strat-o-Tone switching. Available with rosewood or maple fretboards in Brown Sunburst, Honey Blonde Maple or Candy Apple Red, the Deluxe Series Telecaster is as versatile as it is cool-looking. The Deluxe Nashville Power Tele ups the ante by adding acoustic tones to the mix via the Fender/Fishman Power Bridge, with six piezo pickups and special electronics, so you can mix your shimmering Strat, twanging Tele and sparkling acoustic signals however you want, in stereo or mono modes. The Blackout Telecaster is loaded with three vintage-style Tele pickups and five-way switching in a stealthy black package, while the Acoustasonic Tele combines a Fishman piezo pickup and Aura preamp with a Twisted Tele neck pickup and chambered body to deliver an amazing variety of tones, also in mono or stereo. Too cool! Stratocaster players can choose from the Deluxe Players Strat, which combines some gorgeous finishes and gold-plated hardware with three vintage-style Noiseless Strat pickups, and a special push/push mini-switch for seven pickup combinations! The Roadhouse Stratocaster sports three searing Texas Special single-coil pickups, while the Lonestar Stratocaster combines two Texas Special single-coils with a Pearly Gates humbucker at the bridge for plenty of Texas-size tone. The Deluxe Power Strat also features a humbucker bridge pickup, as well as a Fishman Power Bridge for acoustic tones, and that classic Fender whammy system, for a Strat that will power you through any musical adventure. Bass thumpers will want to check out the Deluxe Active P Bass Special, a monstrous hybrid with Jazz Bass neck, P-Bass and J-Bass pickups, and active electronics; or the Deluxe Active Jazz Bass and Deluxe Active Jazz Bass V (Five String), souped-up versions of the classic J-Bass design with two dual-coil ceramic Noiseless Jazz Bass pickups and active electronics, including three-band EQ. The Aerodyne Jazz Bass is an all-black, heavier-than-air vehicle for your musical travels, with a P-Bass pickup in the middle and J-Bass in the bridge, black Strat-style output jack, and smoked chrome bridge and tuners for a strikingly cool black beauty of a bass. The Deluxe Jaguar Bass is a retro-modern classic, with dual tone circuits (passive and active), and Jag-style controls like active/passive slide switches and active circuit tone control wheels. Whatever you’re looking for in an axe, the Fender Deluxe Series delivers with a set of great-sounding guitars and basses, with high-end options and appointments, at incredibly affordable prices.
