I bought this for my wife recently because I had given her a cheap one for Christmas and she was having a ball with it. She is an accomplished musician and I thought she would love an upgrade, but she will probably not perform for a while as she is learning this instrument. I was blown away at the quality and the sound and I doubt we will need a new one for a long time.

I bought this for my first ukulele, and I never felt the need to upgrade for the two years I played. For the money, this is one of the best ukuleles for the price. It stays in tune well, and it sounds beautiful. Whether you want to upgrade from a beginner's uke or you're just starting to play, get one.

I would buy it if you're looking for a not too expensive, but still classy and vibrant uke.
It exceeded my expectations in looks, but only a little in sound. It plays beautifully, its not hard to learn, and it is just overall a great instrument. The only con I've found is that it doesn't stay in tune for that long, but it's gotten better recently.

All Things considered, this is an excellent bargain and a GREAT beginner uke.
I did not want to overspend on my first uke, but I wanted a TUNABLE and PLAYABLE instrument that I could learn on. This uke measures up to all of Cordoba's claims.
Taking into consideration that this is a low priced uke, it is an outstanding little instrument. The tuner for the 'C' string has a little slack(but is still effective), but aside from this small issue, there is nothing I can hold against it. The construction is tight. The neck is straight and firm. The fret work is clean and accurate. The binding and inlays are smooth. The wood and finish are attractive. The tone is warm and the notes are well-difined.

Overall I like the construction and finish of the ukelele. It sounds very good, stays in tune, and looks great. I really can't ask for more at this price.
A basic concert body ukelele made from laminated mahogony. Aquilla Nylgut strings are a nice touch. It sounds very good for the price--a solid top (for more bucks!) might sound better but this one is very good.
Smooth matte finish with no visable flaws. The inside label says "Hencho a mano"--made by hand--and possibly the final assembly was "by hand" in China. The binding and abalone rosette are nice touches and the setup is good as it comes from the factory. Intonation is very close and could be adjusted if the user feels it necessary (with some filing). The tuners are the weak spot. On mine they don't seem to slip and all the strings stay in tune but the peg gear disengages slightly from the worm gear on one string when it is loosened during tuning. I haven't got an inspection mirror small enough to fit inside to check the bracing and internal workmanship but it seems adequate.
A great value for the price--looks and sounds good.

Although he has to learn how to play it, he does play guitar and he seems to really like it. My son plays several instruments and picked up on it really quick. Overall, I would recommend this any one wanting a nice ukelele.

over all i would give insterment a five star rating, the action was a little high , finish is great tone and playabilty i like how can you go wrong for the price out of the box much better than expected.
this is a great ukulele, for the price it was better than i expicted, i play it every day can't put it down, just had to lower the bridge and nut a little personal preference. for the money you cant go wrong buy this one.
