I really enjoy strumming and picking this gorgeous Hawaiian KOA instrument. It tuned up very easily and quick. It has a very round, mellow and deep sound as compared to my other sopranos; supurb sound and tone. The Concert Uke's handle very well, and this one holds it's own with all the others. I am very satisfied and hope others get a chance to try out this excellent instrument made of Hawaiian wood, from in Portugal. Thanks!

The first uke I received were ok as far as fit and finish go, but the bridge popped off the top after about 2 days. I returned it and after about a month of waiting received the replacement. What a waste of wood. The black dyed binding had bled into the koa several places, the slot for the bridge saddle was at least twice as wide as the saddle was thick and the nut looked like it had been crafted by a 4 year old with a hacksaw.Needless to say I returned it for a refund. I was very dissapointed that the Cordoba 25ck was such a poorly made instrument.

Really Nice Uke. Easy to play with a fantastic sound. It does not sound like a toy. I got one just a few weeks ago and love it.
You can tell the craftmanship on this instrument is incredible. A lot of attention to deatail.

Attention to detail would be a nice thing in a Ukulele in this price range, unfortunately Cordoba does not deliver. The finish is less than perfect with areas that didn't get fully sanded on the sides near the neck and below the bridge. Additionally they left finish lines along the unfinished surfaces (bridge and fretboard)and the tuners are not all installed at the same angle - one even portrudes slightly beyond the wood it's mounted to. I just expected more from a $200+ instrument.

I have owned the Cordoba 25CK for a few months now, and I must say that the look, sound, and quality of this ukulele is hard to beat for the price. It has a great feel and plays extraordinarily well. It's versatility would suit all styles of music. Well done Cordoba!

I have owned the Cordoba 25CK Concert Ukulele for than 5 months now, and I have to say, I am more than pleased. The Koa is absolutely gorgeous, the tone is near-perfect, and the price is great (it also comes with a gig bag). I have used this uke performing live and recording; it never lets me down. The tuners rarely slip out of tune and the headstock is a simple, smooth-looking design.The only problem I had was that action was a little off. The bridge sat just a bit low causing the low C, and sometimes the E, to buzz occasionally. I sanded a tootpick to a thin, flat surface and stuck it underneath the piece of wood holding the strings up. Problem solved.Other than that, I have no complaints. You won't find a better crafted, better sounding, or better looking ukulele for the price. Well done Cordoba.

This beauty came today and I feel comfortable with it already. Also received a nice soft case for it, as a pleasant surprise. You would need to spend a lot more to get better sound and even not players will admire its solid good looks.

The Cordoba 25-ck is an excellent ukulele purchase. The construction is sturdy and the sound it's crisp and clear when played properly. Visually the instrument is beautiful, with the exclusion of the head which looks lackluster. The only real drawbacks are that the first fret in the A (1st) string is nearly impossible to fret, and bar chords are much harder to fret then on similar instruments.

This is a superb instrument! It is my first ukulele, and I must say that I don't think I could have started with a better one. Sound quality and tone are superb, as is the craftsmanship. It is both a fine looking and fine sounding instrument. Highly recommended!

In short, the body was nice looking but the intonation above the 5th fret was quite sharp. Additionally, the C string's (3rd string) nut groove was too wide causing the string to move back-and-forth when fretted! If you don't mind paying the extra $$ to have the bridge fixed (intonation), and crossing your fingers for good workmanship on the nut then go for it; it is a pretty instrument. This reviewer, however, won't pay the money for a uke that needs therapy.
