Overview

Made with the same reverence for heritage as the traditional Mexican music for which it is used

The Cordoba Jalisco Bajo Sexto is carefully crafted from select spruce for superb resonance and brilliant sustain. The back and sides are constructed using exotic solid Palo Escrito. The hand inlaid abalone and wood rosette, the detailing of the intricate rope binding and contrasting 3-ply purfling all make this a truly beautiful instrument. The Florentine cutaway provides full fretboard access. The bajo sexto is a double-coursed instrument tuned from high to low strings FF-CC-GG in unison and dD-aA-eE tuned one octave apart like a 12-string guitar.
