- Poor Quality
Comments about Fender John Popper Signature Harmonica:
I've played Hohner Special 20's for about 20 years, decided to pull the trigger on this fender because I am a die hard Blues Traveler/John Popper fan and because it seems to have some decent reviews in online forums. Item arrived with black residue all around the front mouthpiece and on the harmonica finish. Same on the back. I rubbed at it a bit and my finger was black? I'm not sure if this is some sort of manufacturing polish or what, but it is being sent back. Wont be able to give a solid review of performance but based on the poor quality straight out of the box, i'd say buy the three pack of special 20's for the same price and call it a day.
