Overview
The beautiful tone and look of sapele in a comfortable playing shape.
The 10-string viola is a mainstay of Brazilian and Latin music, but due to the number of tunings that are available, the viola can be incorporated into many styles of music. The top two treble courses are tuned in unison, while the bottom three courses are tuned in various octaves. 10-string violas have the shimmer of a 12-string guitar with a much smaller body.
The satin finish Special "C" shape neck allows easy access and great playability. The Giannini GT4M preamp lets you plug into an amp and with volume, tone and presence controls you can taylor the sound your way. The VSA-2 EQ even includes a built-in chromatic digital tuner.
