Comments about Gold Tone BG-250F Resonator Banjo:

I have played mandolin and guitar for about 15 years, but have never been a serious banjo player. I'm very pleased with the tone and playability of this banjo. It's also pretty loud. It has a brighter tone than the Deering I had back when I first messed around with the banjo years ago. Good option for the novice to intermediate player who doesn't want to go the Goodtime, route. I'd definitely take this out jamming if/when my skill level gets to that point. At this price point, I think it'd be nice if it came with a case, but otherwise no complaints.
