      Sturdy reeds!

      Comments about Hering Blues Harmonica:

I usually play Lee Oskar diatonics on stage. I've blown out the reeds in many, many Lee Oskars. Especially the key of A Lee Oskars seem to have a very short life. THe only Hering I have is an A. It soulds great. And, the heavier reed haven't blown out. I've had this Hering for over two years. A new record in A harp life for me! Seems to be just as easy to bend notes, even though the reed plate is thicker. I don't know why that is. When some of my other Lee Oskars wear out, I plan to try some more Herings.

This is BY FAR! the best blues harp out there!I've been playing Horners, Bushmans, Suzuki, and Oscars for over 30 years and these harps blow away the others.Last MUCH longer, blow easier and have great tone!

      Underestimated

      Comments about Hering Blues Harmonica:

These may be inexpensive, but they are great harps. Response is different than a Marine Band, but better than a Low Key Seydel. Tone is different than MB or Seydel, but still a good blues tone. So many good, cheap harps these days, but this one tops the charts. May not be "cool", but will do the job well for 1/4 of the price.

      Great Harmonica

      By

      Comments about Hering Blues Harmonica:

Hering Hering Blues Harmonica is a performance quality instrument at a very reasonable price. In my personal search for my "magic pixie dust" to improve my playing, I learned it is practice and performances that improve my playing. This Hering Blues model turned out to be a run away favorite when compared to my other harps (fairly large collection of key of "C" harps now collecting dust). Sound, quality, reliability and playability are all first class. I have harps costing several times more than the Hering Hering Blues but they are not better!
