OVERVIEW

The harmonica equivalent of a 12-string guitar!

The Hohner 1493/32 C Echo Harmonica has octave tuning (the upper row of 16 holes is tuned one octave below the lower row of 16). When the 2 rows are played at the same time this creates an effect of 2 harmonicas simultaneously playing the same melody. This enables a single player to achieve a stronger, full-bodied sound not possible while playing a standard diatonic harmonica.

Hohner Echo harmonicas offer comfortable curved mouthpieces with traditional wood combs. The chromeplated covers have turned- in ends for extra style and sound. Key of C.

  • Achieves a stronger, full-bodied sound

Like a Twelve string?

Comments about Hohner 1493/32 C Echo Harmonica:

I got it, played, it and it sounds pretty good. It is bigger, but lighter than a regular harmonica. I noticed, too, I do not have to blow air through as much to get a good sound. A little tricky learning to play with its unique design, but a good instrument. Now, where's the rest of the keys?

Musically beautiful.

Comments about Hohner 1493/32 C Echo Harmonica:

This is one musically beautiful harmonica. It may be a little more expensive than standard harmonicas, but it delivers a truly powerful sound. I consider it money well spent.
