Comments about Hohner 2309/32 Echo Harmonica:
I have owned this harmonica for over 35 years. My wife and I bought two of them as xmas gifts. We paid, at a local music store what I imagine the price was close to MSRP. My how times change. I only mention the price, for that reason. It would well be worth the current price.
Now, even though I have had this ECHO harp for that many years, I am far from being a pro. I play for myself and small informal gatherings, but my weapon of choice is usually guitar. I only recently began to play with the harmonica again, and purchased a moderately priced set of Hohners. They are nice little harps, also, but this ECHO harp has a special place in my heart. When I dug them out of my closet, they needed a little cleaning up, but they still play as good as new. I don't think you can go wrong with Hohner and I don't think you'd be sorry if you bought one of these, either. I know some purists resist the echo type harps, but, for me, it is a joy to play. But, like I said, I'm not a pro.
