This is a wonderful item. You need this if you have been wanting something to hold your harps. It has a space for a chromatic harmonica, but this space could also hold a microphone. I've wanted something that would hold the neck rack, and if you get the lighter neck rack made by Hohner on this site, it will rest nicely atop of the harmonicas in this case. The heavier and more common harp rack will not fit, though.

I bought a C12 case about 15 years ago. The foam insert finally started disintegrating, but it had beed a good case so I decided to replace it with another. After getting and returning two new cases, I gave up and purchased a Seydel case instead. Both new C12's had loose hinges and poor alignment of the latches. My guess is that neither case would have lasted one year. Hohner needs to contract with a different manufacturer.

I had one of these cases from years ago and loved it (and unfortunately lost it...). The new version is cheaply made. I'm going to use it, but I am disappointed with the quality.

I've had this case for years, and you can't beat it! The case has held up well to normal use, along with some minor abuse, still looks great, and continues to protect my harps.

            from Southlake, TX

Comments about Hohner C12 Harmonica Carry Case:

This is a cheap case. It looks cheap. Shiny plastic. One of the clasps (on mine) is very stiff. The lid (on mine) doesn't close evenly. If it were pink, it would be perfect for an eight year old girl to put her fake makeup in. Another not so excellent product from China. I'd return it, but it's too much of a hassle.

Its a case, it either works or it doesnt. This does the job, and as held together just fine. This way I can always have my harps with me.

            Hohner case

            By The Burnside Bums-T_XJF

            from Philadelphia, Pa

Comments about Hohner C12 Harmonica Carry Case:

I'm an idiot and always forget my harp rack at shows. With the Hohner case, I am able to fit my harp rack on top of my harps, so I won't forget anything. This case is going to save me a lot of grief from my bandmates. The liner may wear a little, but as long as you're not ripping your harp in and out, then it should be fine. I'm happy with my purchase.
