I have always wanted to pick a banjo,I play piano and guitar so I thought this would be fun and wow, it is great. Purchased this for christmas and I love it. It is the perfect size for me, has great tone, easy to tune and has been very easy to learn on. Now looking for a full size back enclosed banjo but I have a feeling this will remain my favorite.

You get what you pay for. This is not bad for the price and I like the size. I had to replace the bridge with a lightly higher one to get rid of a buzz. The pot is good with 24 brackets and it does have a nice tone ring. It requires several weeks to finally stay somewhat in tune but this is a problem with all short scale instruments.
