Comments about Ibanez UKS10 Ukulele Soprano with Bag:
I love it. It's a wonderful Uke for the money, it's fun to play, it's portable, and I've had NO issues with it what soever. Ok, yeah, it doesn't stay in tune-but that's more the gigbag it comes with than the actual Uke. It's one of those bottom load gig bags, not a side zip-and so it's moving the tuners each time you bag and unbag it. It'd not be NEARLY as bad if the bag wasn't so tight. Anyway, I plan to get a decent hardshell case for it, since I'm going to be moving around alot with it in my gear-it's small, and it's solid-but having a Fender Frontman 65R drop on it... Doubt if it'd hold up.
To sum it up-if this thing breaks-I'll buy another. Granted, the lifetime warrenty pretty much means I don't have to worry about that!
Decent tuners, comes with decent strings on it (as most Iby products do), nice woods used in the construction.
I particularly like the fact it's got internal bracing. I saw another reviewer talking about it's overbuilt-I don't think so. I think it's soild.
Ibanez.
'Nuff said.
WONDERFUL. It's priced a bit more than some of the other entry level Ukes, but for good reason. The Mahalo U-40s don't hvae the bracing on the inside-I don't suppose many Ukes do-and more's the pitty. It makes it feel more soild in your hands, ya know?

Comments about Ibanez UKS10 Ukulele Soprano with Bag:
This soprano uke came with a nice Ibanez logo gig bag and attractive finish. My main gripe is that after much string stretching and playing of chords, I just couldn't get it to stay in tune. I am new to ukulele, but have been playing acoustic, electric, and classical guitar, bass ect... for about 16 years. I know how to tune a stringed instrument. Perhapse the 1 I got was just a dud? I was hoping to get a playable uke for less than $100, but I've sent this model back and am currently waiting on a Silver Creek soprano uke with solid mahogany construction and hopefully better tuning machines.
Comments about Ibanez UKS10 Ukulele Soprano with Bag:
Bought this uke recently along with a couple of others in the same general price range and am impressed with its tone and durability. This is a little bit thicker-bodied than some other brands, but it plays very nicely and has a good tone. I have a couple of guitars made by Ibanez and the value-based approach ( high quality - lower price) that this company uses in its other products has carried through to this instrument as well. The tuners are particularly nice compared to a lot of the others I have tried in this price range. Good ukulele and a lot of fun to play...and that's really the point with ukuleles.
Comments about Ibanez UKS10 Ukulele Soprano with Bag:
I wanted an inexpensive soprano uke and my expectations were adjusted accordingly: I really didn't expect much in that price range but I really should have gone with an established uke maker rather than take the chance on Ibanez. This is what happens when a guitar maker (and they do make some nice guitars...don't get me wrong) makes an instrument that looks like a little guitar but shouldn't be built like one. Overbuilt might be the word. Ukes rely on lightness and flexibility to get their tone and even the laminate top ones should have those qualities; this one doesn't. I'll be looking at a different one from a company that just makes ukes. Intonation is sharp and the headstock is a bit too close to the top of the neck and gets in the way of average hands. Like I said, I didn't expect perfection but adequate would have been good.
