Comments about Kala Solid Acacia Tenor Ukulele:

I started with a Kala Koa Gloss Tenor, but it just didn't meet my ridiculously high standards. I thought I'd make the leap to the Acacia, and I am so glad I did! What a difference for such minimal price increase. The instrument is stunning -- took my breath away upon unpacking. The bowed back and slotted head give this Uke a uniquely warm but punchy sound. The tuners are as good as they come. I couldn't be happier! Thanks Musician's Friend -- you are a high quality company!

Comments about Kala Solid Acacia Tenor Ukulele:

I first purchase a Kala Koa gloss, but just wasn't quire up to my obsessive standards so thought I'd give the Solid Acacia a try. What an incredible step up - no comparison for the small boost in cost. This is one seriously beautiful instrument. Warm, but with just enough punch when needed. This has it all and does it all for a fraction of the cost of high end "k-brand" Ukes. So happy with this and so too will you be.

Comments about Kala Solid Acacia Tenor Ukulele:

This is a great Kala Uke. I was looking for the cutaway version but that is only available at a specific music store in England. My first order from Musician's Friend the Uke had a fissure crack in the back. The return process was a nuisance and it took around two weeks to obtain the replacement. Musician's Friend needs to inspect instruments carefully prior to shipping. Nevertheless, this is a classy uke and I am very pleased with it.

Comments about Kala Solid Acacia Tenor Ukulele:

First Ukulele I've owned, but have played both electric and acoustic guitar for many decades. Watched Sam Shepard in Netflix' "Bloodlines" walk around with a uke forever nearby, though it looked like a good idea. It was. Sits in the next chair, so I'm always picking it up an learning. Very nice instrument. Great looking, well constructed, with nice volume and warm tone. Only have to give it a minor tuning once a week. Very happy with it, would recommend it to anyone looking for a new instrument to fool with. Turns out you can play anything from Django to J.S. Bach on them. Who would have guessed?
