The Kentucky KM-140S A-model mandolin has a solid spruce top for the best tone and volume. Quick tuning is assured by the deluxe tuning machines and accurately placed frets. Other features include elevated, 20-fret fingerboard, which frees up the top for maximum vibration. The neck angle allows the use of a higher, adjustable bridge in the correct vintage-style. The result is a sweet, powerful tone with volume to spare. The Kentucky KM-140S is a great value for the price-conscious working Bluegrass and Old-time Musician. Since their introduction in the mid-1970s Kentucky Mandolins have set a new value standard for A model mandolins. These mandolins offer a value so extraordinary it has made them runaway best-sellers.
