The Lanikai Curly Koa Series CK-TEK Tenor Ukulele with Fishman Kula Electronics features this Hawaiian wood for its top, back and sides. The neck has a rosewood fingerboard with 19 frets that are fully accessable thanks to the cutaway body of this tenor ukulele. The CK-TEK comes with die-cast tuners and the Fishman Kula pickup/preamp system.

I play guitar and piano and have been wanting a ukulele for a while now. I considered a cheaper uke for my first, but after much research I decided this was the one for me. The fact that it's a tenor is great because its slightly larger which eases in playing if transitioning from guitar, and it also has a fuller sound than the smaller types. The pickup is amazing because there is no need to mic it while performing. Also, it's beautiful and bottom line a great beginner ukulele.

Gorgeous wood. Very striking appearance as the tone of the wood changes with the angle that you look at it. The tone quality and volume of this uke are outstanding. Very well built in indonesia, surprised to say that but I am amazed at the quality of this uke for the price. Nice smooth seams, straight neck, perfect action. The electronics are very nice as well. tuner works great. If you're thinking about buying this, don't hesitate, you will not be disappointed!

Great uke. Built very well and beautiful wood. All the seams are tight and smooth and the neck is nice and straight. Action is just right for a uke. Will replace tuners however because i put grovers on everything. Very nice tone and all the electronics work great. This uke has good volume as well. Much more than my other ukes. Buy it!
