First One I've Owned

Features:

Basic instrument, looks very nice, finish is rich and it looks very high quality

Quality:

I bought this a a gift, so all I've done is take it out of the box and make sure it isn't broken.  I've never had a ukulele before, but it appears that it is well made, it fees solid and the tuning machines seem to be of good quality.

Value:

Great value at the price.  Looks great, sounds like you would expect it to.  This is probably not something you would perform with professionally, but it fees solid and seems to have a good sounding tone.

Overall:

Looks great, sounds like you would expect it to.  This is probably not something you would perform with professionally, but it feels solid and seems to have a good sounding tone.

Awesome, just simply awesome. The strings are very new so they are still stretching, so it's annoying to have to tune it so often but give me practice as a new-uke player

When I opened it up I was so excited, it is so pretty, well put together. I haven't seen anything wrong with it. This is my first ukulele, and I'm very excited to learn. The book that they send with it could be a little more informative, but other than that it's awesome. I love the way they strung the uke because it's so neat at the end.

Well i bought this uke to learn on with the intention of upgrading later. well what a mistake. it took me a total of about 20 minutes to learn about 15 chords...so much just to learn on. if i were to do it over again i would get an acoustic-electric (i now own the lu-21te). so if you have any intention of upgrading in the near future, just do it now before you buy this. dont get me wrong, this isn't that bad of an instrument. it has decent tone and good projection, but it is a beginners instrument. i rated it so low in quality for 2 reasons: the fretboard and bridge. they are both nato wood painted black. the paint job is uneven. it looks as though a kinder-gardener painted it. the construction seems solid enough though. just looks terrible. instead of buying this, i would just upgrade to at least the lu-21 because at least that has rosewood and binding.

This ukulele is a good beginners ukulele. The fret board was painted horribly and it doesn't stay in tune very well. Over all if your a beginner, this is a good ukulele.
