This tenor 6-string is made with nato wood top, back, and sides. Multiple binding. 18 frets, inline gold tuners with pearl buttons. Shadow pickup with 2-band EQ and volume control. 26"W x 9"W x 2-7/8"D.

Lanikai ukuleles have great playability, sound, and aesthetics at a price that will surprise you. The top, back, and sides are nato wood, which is very similar to mahogany. Binding on the top. Rosewood bridge and fingerboard.

This ukulele is strung with Aquila Nylgut Strings and includes a Lanikai Learn to Play Instruction Booklet.

This ukulele has a really good sound.  The six strings allows for some  thicker and more full chords.  Also, even though the C and A strings are  doubled-up, the finger picking really isn't that hard of an adjustment  nor does it hurt the sound.  Something I have noticed is that the  instrument really doesn't hold tune very well, so I would recommend  purchases a clip-on neck tuner or another easily accessable tuning  method.  Overall, this is a beautifully looking and sounding ukulele  with the polished nato-wood gleaming.  With the electronics, the  instrument was really to go and plug-in.  The sound out of the amplifier  is really good.  Almost sounds like I'm just playing acoustically...but  louder for those performances and get-togethers with friends to jam.
