Even though this is a cheap instrument it is very playable. Granted it is plywood, but the ones I ordered were very well constructed and the fretting is very true. It is a very surprising instrument for the money and it comes with an instruction DVD that is well worth listening to. Learning to play the ukulele is a good way to learn an insrument. It is easy on the fingers and a good place to start and graduate to playing guitar.

Love the sparkles and dolphin shaped tuner plates. Few scratchs here and there but nothing dramatic.
The black paint on the sides of the neck will begin to come off after only a few uses. It irritated me at first, but I got over it.
I would suggest changing the strings after you get the uke because the buzz like crazy. I haven't done it myself, but I hope doing so will stop the buzzing.
Great for beginners look for PIZZAZ !
Overall I see it as a good buy as a starter uke, but once you really get into the instrument you'll realize that you'll need to spruce it up a bit or an upgrade.
